Disney World’s Magic Kingdom is FULL of incredible food and we know where to find it. There are so many options for great eats, in fact, that it can lead to some tough decisions! There are even some food options you may not know even exist, making your choice on what to eat even TOUGHER!
There is so much more to Magic Kingdom than just burgers and chicken nuggets, and that’s why we’re here! If you’re struggling to decide what to order next time you’re in the Most Magical Place on Earth, let us help!
Don’t eat breakfast at Starbucks! Go to Joffrey’s instead.
Sometimes the best breakfast option out there is ALSO the most convenient option. While we know many of you out there LOVE your daily dose of Starbucks, there are other great coffee options to consider at Magic Kingdom with MUCH more manageable lines!
Joffrey’s Coffee is a small chain that is local to Tampa, FL. But for a lot of you readers who may be less familiar, Joffrey’s has kiosk locations throughout Disney World, and offers specialty coffee, tea, pastries (including awesome local Donut King donuts!), and other beverage options!
Next time you’re in Magic Kingdom, skip Starbucks on Main Street (where the line is probably a mile and a half long), and head to Tomorrowland where you’ll find Joffrey’s Revive! Try one of their Donut King donuts (trust us – you’ll thank us later!). And get to the rides THAT much faster!

Get CUSTOMIZED popcorn instead of the generic stuff!
Main Street Confectionery has a completely new look now since it was remodeled! And, with that new look came a NEW popcorn experience! You can make your own, custom popcorn over here. Pick between Caramel, rainbow, butter, or cheddar flavored popcorn (depending on availability), then pick a syrup of either dark, white, or milk chocolate. After that, you can mix in candies like M&Ms, marshmallows, skittles, snickers, and more!
WHY would you settle for boring ol’ plain buttered popcorn that you can find in all of the parks (which, let’s be honest, can be hit or miss when it comes to freshness), when you can make your own custom blend?! This is a great snack to munch on as you walk around or to take back to your hotel with you for a midnight snack.

Get FRESH CARAMEL CORN instead of regular popcorn!
Yep, we’re still talking about popcorn, sorry not sorry! Now in Magic Kingdom, you can get that amazing, delicious, extraordinary fresh caramel corn that you could previously only get in the Germany Pavilion in EPCOT! It’s made with Werther’s Caramel and made right there and sometimes you can even get it served warm if they just made a fresh batch!
This is a great treat to have and definitely beats regular popcorn in our book, especially if you have a craving for something sweet! It’s also easy to carry around in your bag or bring back home with you (if it lasts that long!).

Get limited time treats instead of the staples
We’re not saying to not get ANY of the staples, but we definitely think you should try out some snacks that aren’t going to stick around forever! Right now, there are a TON of special foods in Magic Kingdom for the 50th anniversary, and they do change, so we wouldn’t wait to try them out if we were you! Some of our favorites include the Pressed Penny Silk Pie, the Snow White Cone , and the Spoon for One More Clam Chowder!
There are also fun things that change like the Seven Dwarfs Specialty Cones. This is over at Storybook Treats and the flavors change depending on what dwarf is featured. Each cone flavor has been sticking around for a while, but there’s no telling when it could change!

Beware of the pre-packaged snacks! Head to Main Street Confectionery for the fresh stuff!
In general, if there’s a snack you’re craving at Magic Kingdom, chances are you can find it fresh instead of pre-packaged if you look around!
Whether you want cotton candy, Rice Krispie treats, or hand-dipped apples, Main Street Confectionery will have plenty of snacks that were made that day (sometimes RIGHT in front of you!).
You can watch cotton candy being freshly spun, apples being dunked in caramel, and so much more. Ask what treats are being prepared fresh that day and pick a winner! It’s tough to go wrong with any of their freshly prepared sweets!
Find specialty snacks you can ONLY get at Magic Kingdom, instead of the snacks offered resort-wide!
Our last tip is a big one, and it’s sort of a “catch-all” for the many tasty snacks you can find throughout the park. Magic Kingdom has no shortage of churros, Mickey Mouse pretzels, and Dole Whip. However, all of those items can be found elsewhere throughout Walt Disney World (those Mickey Mouse pretzels will follow you everywhere you go, trust us!).
The first snack we recommend you try instead of your traditional Dole Whip is a specialty Dole Whip Float! One of our faves has got to be the Tropical Serenade from Aloha Isle. This treat is made with the famous POG juice (passion fruit, orange, and guava juice) swirled with coconut soft serve, and then topped with a pineapple upside-down cake pop. It is DELISH! And, it’s only available in Magic Kingdom.
Next up, instead of your typical churro, grab a Cheshire Cat Tail instead! This fan-favorite snack at Cheshire Cafe is a Chocolate Danish Twist, decorated with stripes of purple and pink icing that mimic the look of that sneaky Cheshire Cat from Alice in Wonderland.
To rinse that Cheshire Cat Tail down, head to Sunshine Tree Terrace in Adventureland for the Sparkling Sunshine. It’s Sparkling Apple Cider With Orange Cream Soft-serve, rimmed with EARidescent Sugar. This is practically the same thing as the old FOMOsa, it just has some pretty 50th anniversary sprinkles!
While you’re in Adventureland, shuffle over to the Spring Roll Wagon for sone of our FAVORITE snacks! These are some of the BEST snacks in Magic Kingdom, so much so that it always comes up in conversation when we tell folks where to find the best snacks each year. Right now, they have the classic Cheeseburger and the special 50th anniversary pastrami spring rolls.
Finally, for dessert, we’re heading back to Sleepy Hollow for our beloved Nutella Waffle Sandwich! This has been a DFB fave for years and is a colossal snack that’s more like a magical dessert taco, loaded with fresh fruit and ALL the Nutella on a fresh-baked waffle.
You can call it whatever you want — we love it and you GOTTA try it!

With so many delicious options around Magic Kingdom, we want you to know all the BEST ways to max out your snackage in the park! Mickey Premium Bars and Churros are fine and all, but you can do BETTER, and we want to help make sure that happens.

Any idea why the spring roll cart doesn’t accept snack credits?
DFB Sarah says
George, the cart used to take credits, but when they changed up a bit in 2018, they stopped being DDP eligible.

Carly, I can’t thank u enough. I don’t know when I’ll get to my world again, but with all of the changes going on, I have been wondering about one of my fave foods…..puffy French toast in the Crystal Palace! Now I know that it still exists! 😊💕
