How the HECK is March already halfway over?! With so many new announcements in Disney World, time really flies! One minute we’re welcoming the Flower & Garden Festival to EPCOT, and the next we’re checking out the new Space 220 menu. There are lots of changes happening in the parks and resorts right now and we never know what we might find around the corner!
Whether you’re here for the food updates or want to check out the latest merchandise, we’re here to share ALL the updates from Disney World. Let’s take a look at what we found in the Magic Kingdom this week!
Magic Kingdom Entertainment Updates
The beloved Dapper Dans are performing on Main Street, U.S.A. once again! Previously, you could catch them up on the Main Street Train Station, but it’s nice to be able to see them back on the ground.
You may also see them performing on the Main Street Trolley car. Keep your eyes (and ears) out for some classic show tunes — the Dapper Dans are surely nearby! For a full list of showtimes, you can check out our handy post here or check the My Disney Experience app.
Magic Kingdom Food Updates
Big Top Treats
This pastel Easter Minnie Caramel Apple is $10.99.
We were SO excited to find the beloved Karamell-Küche popcorn at Big Top Treats!
It’s $6.99 for a bag of that fresh, delicious Wether’s Original Caramel Popcorn. This is the first time we’ve seen this popcorn for sale in the Magic Kingdom! If you’ve followed us for a while, you know that we LOVE Karamell-Küche treats, so now that this popcorn is available in the Magic Kingdom, we have MORE excuses to indulge in this treat.
Main Street Confectionery
The Main Street Confectionery has a variety of sweet treats, like caramel apples, Mickey rice krispies, and marshmallows. Now, this shop is also selling Easter cupcakes! We’ve seen a variation of this cupcake in the past, but this year the colors are a little different!
These adorable cupcakes are $5.19 each.
Disney World cupcakes are known to be pretty sweet and typically have a LOT of icing!
Magic Kingdom Construction Updates
Speaking of the construction, Disney recently shared an update on the outer canopy; you can check out the video here!
Walt Disney World Railroad
It’s been a busy few days for Imagineers! We also spotted the Walt Disney World Railroad doing some ride testing by the Fantasyland station. The train has been unavailable for guests due to TRON construction (The construction is blocking the train tracks!).

You can see in the video that the train was actually moving BACKWARDS!
Magic Kingdom Merchandise Updates
Over in the Emporium, we found a new Tie-Dye Mickey Headband for $14.99. Bonus — it’s reversible!
Disney released a new mini-collection of Spirit Jersey jean jackets! We found a purple Princess Tiana denim jacket…
…a light-washed Pocahontas jacket…
…and a blue princess Cinderella jean jacket, too! They’re all pretty cute; which one is your favorite?
These new jackets are $119.99 each (ouch!!). You can also buy them on shopDisney!
Frontier Trading Post
If you love teeeny tiny things (same), you might enjoy Disney’s Tiny Kingdom pins!
Series 4 is available now, and each mystery box is $19.99.
Ever find yourself thinking, “I’d Rather Be at Disney World?” If so, you can pick up this sticker for $4.99!
Star Traders also has this new Balloon Sticker, which is also $4.99.
If you’re looking for a fun key accessory, check out this Believe Key Chain for $11.99.
Finally, this new J’Adore Mickey Mouse shirt is $36.99.
This would be perfect for a trip to the France pavilion in EPCOT, don’t you think?
The new Disney Designer Aurora Doll joined the collection in Sir Mickey’s!
She’s pretty expensive at $129.99, but it’s a pretty cool collector’s item.
The new Peter Pan Dooney & Bourke collection flew into Uptown Jewelers in the Magic Kingdom!
The collection contains a large tote bag for $298, a handbag for $298, and a crossbody bag for $248.
Bonjour! Village Gifts
For all our fans of the Enchanted Tiki Room, bring a little of that enchantment home with this Tiki Bird Statue for $70.
Bonjour! also has a framed print and a postcard featuring some stunning Little Mermaid-inspired artwork.
The print is $499 and if that’s a little out of your budget, you can grab a postcard for $5.99.
The art is titled “A Mermaid’s Dream” by Ashley Taylor.
Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe
There are some new ornaments in the Christmas store in Liberty Square! We found some matching Best Mom and Dad ornaments for $22.99.
Our old pal Jiminy Cricket is also the star of this new ornament!
It’s also available for $22.99.
We hope you enjoyed our little visit to the Magic Kingdom! Be sure to stay tuned for all the latest Disney news.
