Although we haven’t been using My Disney Experience very much these days to make FastPasses or book dining reservations at Disney World, it seems like every time we open the app up, they’ve added something new!

Not too long ago, Disney shared a way to make Pineapple Dole Whip at home with their Now You’re Cooking recipe tutorial!

And now, instead of engaging our tastebuds, Disney is turning their attention to our green thumbs! They’ve just added some step-by-step instructions for how to make your very own DIY Hidden Mickey using succulents!

Many varieties of succulents can be quite forgiving. They don’t require a lot of water like some other types of plants and generally they thrive indoors! The instructions make this little DIY project sound super-easy! All you need is a pot, some soil, three round-shaped succulents, and maybe a little extra fancy top soil for some extra pizzazz!

Make sure the vessel you choose to plant your Hidden Mickey in has a drainage hole at the bottom! Then fill the container with potting soil, planting each of the succulents in the shape of Mickey’s head and ears. Put down a layer of colorful rocks (like you’d put in an aquarium) or other decorations and VOILA! You’ve made a new eco-friendly friend!
