While you probably haven’t been using your My Disney Experience app very much lately, (unless you’ve been spying on Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure and the new France pavilion expansion like us!), it’s time to open ‘er up!
That’s because instead of helping us navigate the parks, the app is now leading us through make-at-home versions of some of our favorite Disney World snacks!
Normally we use the My Disney Experience app to book our FastPasses and set up any advance dining reservations while we’re at the parks — it’s a VERY handy tool to have at your disposal in Disney World! And many of us already have the app downloaded on our phones, Disney is puttin’ it to good use!
They have introduced a new, Now You’re Cooking feature. Annnnd the first step-by-step recipe has just gone up today!
Hmm… Vanilla Ice Cream, Pineapple Juice, and Frozen Pineapple Chunks?! I wonder what we could possibly be making today! (We think it rhymes with Mole Whip!)
We love how super easy and colorful the directions are! Even beginners should find these instructions pretty simple to follow!
It’s time to make use of that Ninja Blender your Aunt got you all those Christmases ago!
And of, course, you gotta add the vanilla swirl! If you don’t have a piping bag, you can use a plastic sandwich bag instead and just cut off one of the corners! That’s a pro tip for ya!
And voila! You got yourself a Frozen Pineapple Treat to enjoy in the comfort of your own tropical hideaway!
The My Disney Experience app is planning on adding more recipes soon, so keep your eyes peeled! To discover new features you need to be logged into your app and have the push notifications turned on!

Are you excited to try your hand at making your own Frozen Pineapple Treat? Let us know in the comments below!
Of course, Dole Whips are vegan, so this not a Dole Whip. That’s probably why they call it a Frozen Pineapple Treat…
I can’t find it on the app…can you please help?
I also can’t find it on the app, any help that can be passed along would be appreciated!
Kassandra, we see it when we scroll down on the homescreen. (We just checked; it’s below PhotoPass, but I’m not sure if that’s permanent or if it’ll move around.)
Update the app…
I just opened my updated app and it’s not there either. I dont even have photo pass either. it stops at “Purchase Park Merchandise”
