While the new merchandise is all nice, we get especially excited about new food; and today, we got the chance to try a brand new food item at the France festival booth for the 2020 Taste of EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival!
Yesterday, we shared with you that a new escargot dish was coming to the France festival booth at the 2020 Taste of EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival. Well, today we went out and got to taste it. Introducing the Feuilleté d’Escargot à la Crème d’Ail et Persil or Escargot in Puff Pastry with Garlic and Parsley Cream Sauce.
The puff pastry in this dish was perfect! It was crispy and buttery and everything we hoped it would be. There was also a hefty amount of garlic in this dish, which we loved. We could even smell the garlic through our face mask! Those who love escargot will probably adore this. But, even if you don’t love escargot, you’ll probably still find this dish to be pretty delicious. Because the garlic is really predominant in terms of flavor, you won’t get too strong of a taste from the escargot, and you’ll likely still find this snack to be quite enjoyable!
Overall, we’d say, definitely try it if you’re an escargot fan! If you don’t love the idea of eating snails, but you’re looking to do some adventurous eating, this snack may still be a good option for you since the garlic is so strong and delicious. Still hungry?
