Things definitely look a little bit different around the Rivers of America today!
If you’re headed to the Haunted Mansion today in honor of the spooky holiday, you might notice something a little strange along the way. We recently noticed that the water level of the Rivers of America was lower than normal — but now, it’s completely drained!
Just a few days ago, we spotted some shallow(er) waters at the Rivers of America…
…but today, things are at a whole different level — literally! While strolling past the Rivers of America in Magic Kingdom, we noticed that the water is now completely drained!
Both the Liberty Square Riverboat and Tom Sawyer Island, which are located on the Rivers of America, are currently down for lengthy refurbishments.
It’s definitely odd seeing this Magic Kingdom staple look so different!

Interesting,,, I always knew the riverboat was on a track, but how does it moor close to the loading/unloading dock…? The track does not seem to be close enough. I wonder, does it unlock from the rail for boarding and unboarding to get close enough or is the track not visable enough in the picture to show the jog to the dock.
