We’ve already tried SO many holiday snacks, so we might as well add just one more to the list!
Yesterday, we reported that the Fa La La La Funnel Cake arrived at Sleepy Hollow in Disney’s Magic Kingdom. This location is known for serving up all the delicious battered goodies: funnel cakes, waffles, and corn dogs! Today we stopped by to try out this holiday spin on one of their classic treats.
This treat is definitely one of the most photogenic holiday snacks we’ve had so far! Those red and green Christmas sprinkles really pop against that HUGE mound of whipped cream! Beyond that…it’s a bit disappointing if you’re looking to mix it up.
It’s essentially the same funnel cake that was available at Sleepy Hollow before (powdered sugar, strawberry topping, and whipped cream), just with the added sprinkles. It’s even the same price at $7.99! We certainly don’t mind the sprinkles though — they add a nice festive touch!
The funnel cake itself was crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside, just the way you’d want it to be! The strawberry topping was nice and cold, so it added a great contrast to the warm funnel cake.
We honestly could’ve wished for just a tad more of the strawberries, but it was delicious nonetheless. It tasted exactly how you’d expect this treat to taste!
If you’re a fan of strawberries and funnel cakes, make sure to swing by Sleepy Hollow in Magic Kingdom’s Liberty Square. We imagine this treat will only be around for the holiday season, so you’ll want to get one before it ends! And keep checking DFB for more news on the latest holiday snacks around Disney World!
