Things definitely feel a bit different in Magic Kingdom without the iconic nightly fireworks!
This holiday season, Cinderella Castle is being illuminated by projections, which rotate between several different festive patterns. And while the nightly fireworks shows have not yet resumed, we did get a small taste of fireworks in the park tonight!
We’ve recently seen firework testing in Disney World after the parks had closed. But tonight, we were able to catch a glimpse of fireworks inside the park!
The fireworks were an unannounced surprise, so we snagged some shots of them as soon as we could get our camera ready!
The fireworks add an extra magical sparkle to the Castle projections!
We even saw some different colored fireworks that matched the projections!
Check out these little beauties in action!

Well that brings a lot of hope to my heart thanks
YES!!
What are the projection shows?
I leave for WDW in 12 days therefore I HOPE to see fireworks for my December trip!
I think you can see them every 15 minutes if I’m not mistaken.
Just finished our trip to WDW….last night we stayed to see the projections. There are 4 projections (which are quite amazing!). They change every 15 minutes with a little fanfare and a single shooting off of fireworks. It was lovely. Unfortunately social distancing goes out the window with the projections, as well as the cavalcades and walking down Main Street at night. We had a lovely week!!
