And, we’ve got plenty of merchandise, crowds, and entertainment updates to share with you. So, what are you waiting for? Let’s jump right on in!
Disney’s Hollywood Studios Merchandise Update
Now that 2021 has started, we can’t help but want to add a few new sparkly accessories to our wardrobe to welcome the New Year! And, over at the Dark Room, there’s a new Glittery Pink MagicBand that definitely had our name all over it.
All that glittler looked gorgeous in and out of the sunshine for $24.99!
What pair of Minnie Ears are you going to wear with this beauty??
Mickey’s of Hollywood
Whether you’re a dog or cat person, we’re sure you’re going to adore the new Pet Magnets in the Mickey’s of Hollywood! You can take home the Disney Dog Magnet to your puppy pal…
…or the Disney Cat Magnet to your feline friend for $7.99 each.
These are part of a HUGE new collection of Disney merchandise.
Once Upon a Time
While you’re celebrating the New Year, you can remind your special someone how much you love them with the new to us Mickey and Minnie Key Chain for $9.99. Our hearts are so full just looking at how sweet our favorite couple is together!
Disney’s Hollywood Studios Entertainment Update
As we hopped around Disney’s Hollywood Studios to celebrate New Year’s Eve, Disney Resort guests were able to take home a commemorative 2021 Hat during their adventures!
The hat showed off plenty of Disney fireworks as well as a blue Mickey head to pair with the “Happy New Year!” tagline.
And, we even picked up a New Year’s Eve button to fashion around the parks so we can remember our time in Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
After we put on all our New Year’s gear, we headed over to Rise of the Resistance to ring in 2021 with our favorite guy (how you doin’, Poe?)…
…and escape the First Order along the way.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios Crowd Update
The crowds were pretty typical of a holiday in Disney World for New Year’s Eve, even though we saw plenty of guests make sure to distance from one another.
There were a few sections of the park that were a little busier than others…

…as more crowds made their way into Disney’s Hollywood Studios throughout the day.
The mid-day wait times ranged at different popular attractions, like 60 minutes for Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway…
…80 minutes for Slinky Dog Dash…
…100 minutes for Rock ‘N’ Roller Coaster…
…and 50 minutes for Toy Story Mania.
And, we’ll be sure to give you a look at the rest of the crowds and wait times you can find as 2021 begins!
Well, that’s all for this What’s New at Disney’s Hollywood Studios! We’ll catch you next time for more merchandise, entertainment, and crowd updates. And, if you have any questions about your 2021 Disney vacation may look different, let us know so we can help you find the answers!
