Being long-time Disney fans, we’ve seen some things… .

Some of those things include videos of malfunctioning attractions, missing characters, and other Disney-related things that not only made us laugh, shocked us, or surprised us, but stayed with us a LONG time after we saw them. Or maybe it’s that we can’t UNSEE them. That’s why we’re sharing 5 videos that live in our heads rent free.

Elsa Having a Bad Day

So, yeah, 2020 was a year, and at one point, a malfunctioning Elsa on Frozen Ever After at EPCOT’s Norway Pavilion was pretty much ALL OF US. Or maybe she’s just sick of singing that same song over and over, but at one point, it totally looked like her heart was really not into it. A rider named Christie captured Elsa’s mood.

The sleepy eyes and the hand gesture that looks like she doesn’t even want to bother — we feel it. Elsa looks like she’s SO ready to “Let It Go.” We’ve been there, girl.

Where’s Anna’s Face?!?!

The other Frozen sister had her own bad day, too. But hers was far more terrifying! Our reader Nicole (@nicoleuttaro on Instagram) shared video with us that looks like something out of a horror movie! You okay, Anna?

As you can tell, this attraction occasionally has its issues. On this particular day, the projection of Anna’s face just wasn’t working. Or maybe she just didn’t feel like putting her face on for the day. And we get that!

Donald Is A…Plant?

Over at the Mexico Pavilion at EPCOT, Gran Fiesta Tour Starring the Three Caballeros started having issues with its animatronics, most notably Donald. At some point, Donald got replaced with…a plant. A PLANT. Like no one would notice.

They put a sombrero on a plant, y’all, and tried to pass it off as Donald Duck! 😂  And that plant stand-in was there for a little while before it disappeared and we just had the Two Cabelleros. So of course, now, we’re wondering if Donald got kicked out of the group for impersonating a plant (or vice versa).

Sad Br’er Rabbit

It’s no secret that Splash Mountain’s animatronics occasionally show their age, and at one point, Br’er Rabbit had a malfunction that summed up how we often felt last year. Our friend’s over at AllEars.net shared a video of Br’er having a bad day… .

About the only part of that animatronic working was whatever moves him from point A to point B. Otherwise, that poor rabbit couldn’t be bothered. Or maybe he’s just bummed out that he’s getting replaced by The Princess and the Frog theme.

Robot Spider-Man

Sometimes, we just see Disney videos that blow our minds and the robot Spider-Man being prepared for Disneyland’s upcoming Avengers Campus is AMAZING — well, also a little creepy because how is that a robot? Like this thing is FLYING through the air!

We seriously can’t get over how wild that looks! But Disney Imagineering tends to shock and surprise us, because that’s what they do! But can you imagine what it will be like to have a robot Spider-Man flying over you at Avengers Campus? SO cool, but also SO weird.
