Even though we’re still in the middle of the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts, it’s time to start planning for the next festival!
The EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival begins on March 3rd this year and runs all the way until July 5th. We’ve gotten some details on the outdoor kitchens (food booths) that will be coming, as well as much of the entertainment. We’re getting excited about this event, and we know you are too, so we’ve compiled a full list of the activities that you’ll be able to enjoy at this year’s festival!
As usual, the festival will be highlighted by the fantastic foliage, flowers, and topiaries that will be placed all around EPCOT. The intricately crafted topiaries will be inspired by a variety of favorite Disney characters, including Mickey and friends, Buzz Lightyear, Winnie the Pooh, Tinker Bell, and more.
There will also be a variety of “global gardens” inspired by nature from around the world. Guests can visit the Goodness Garden Butterfly House in Future World or the Bamboo Garden in the China Pavilion. Learn more about honey bees at The Honey Bee-stro Hosted by National Honey Board, or just stroll around and admire the local flora of each country’s World Showcase pavilion.
For food, there are lots of outdoor kitchens serving up a variety of creative cuisine. You’ll find returning favorites like Pineapple Promenade and Trowel & Trellis, as well as the new Cider House inside World Showplace.
There will be plenty of live entertainment at this year’s festival! The Jammin’ Gardeners will be performing on Canada Pavilion’s Mill Stage and you’ll get the chance to listen to seasonal songs played by the EPCOT Pianist inside World Showplace. Over at the America Gardens Theatre, you’ll find Mariachi Cobre and the Voices of Liberty alternating performances throughout the day.
Spike’s Pollen-Nation Exploration and the Egg-stravaganza Scavenger Hunt will provide plenty of fun for the whole family as you travel around the park searching for hidden items. Once you complete your maps, you can win a prize!
We will share more details in the coming weeks! We’ll be at EPCOT on opening day to report live and give our reviews of all the food and activities, so stay tuned to DFB!
