We’re trying to patiently wait for Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure to open in Disney World. But, the early arrival of merchandise, removal of construction walls, and the Gusteau’s sign all lit up at night are REALLY making us that much more excited!
After the cutest Talking Remy Plushes hit the shelves in EPCOT, they disappeared just as quickly as they appeared. Luckily, though, they were restocked pretty soon afterwards so everyone could take home their own “Little Chef” ahead of the attraction’s grand opening. But, um, Remy might be feeling overworked in the kitchen since he’s looking kind of strange today.
When we visited the France Pavilion to see if any more Ratatouille items had arrived on the shelves, we noticed that one Remy Plush was not like the others.
This guy seemed a bit lazy-eyed, like he had been reading “Anyone Can Cook!” way past his bedtime or fell into a food coma from all the eats at the EPCOT Festival of the Arts (same).
We think he was probably trying to figure out the opening date for Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, and got a little frazzled in the meantime. 😉
He sure is a unique souvenir to take home from Disney World. And, since we’ve become collectors of Disney items that are extra special, we couldn’t help but take him home with us for $29.99. Trust us — he’s still just as cute in person, we promise! Stay tuned with DFB for more new merchandise we find around the parks soon!
