Cold Brew Fans: There's a New Chocolate Drink for You to Try in Disney World

We’ve had MANY a donut, breakfast sammie, and cold brew at Everglazed Donuts & Cold Brew.

In fact, just a few days ago we stopped by Everglazed for 2 NEW donuts. But, today we came back for MORE. How does double chocolate cold brew coffee and a chocolate covered donut sound?

Warning: reading this post may cause you to find your local donut shop and order LOTS of sweet treats. Okay, now that you’ve been warned, let’s move on with our review!

Today, at Everglazed we grabbed the Double Chocolate Nitro Cold Brew. This drink is made with nitro cold brew, chocolate milk, and chocolate and white chocolate syrups.

Did you know that Everglazed actually mixes Hersey’s chocolate and milk to make their own chocolate milk?! That’s the chocolate milk that’s then added to the cold brew for this special creation.

And while getting a cold brew might be fine on its own, this one is extra special because it comes with the NEW Brooklyn Blackout Donut!

The Brooklyn Blackout Donut is made with a chocolate glazed donut that is dipped in chocolate icing and then topped with mini chocolate chips, chocolate buttercream, and chocolate wafer cookies.

Wait, doesn’t that donut look familiar? It appears to be IDENTICAL to the chocolate donut we had just days before BUT the Everglazed Cast Member previously told us that it was called “Chocolate Paradise.” The toppings for both donuts are the same though! Ah, a donut by any other name would taste as sweet! It looks like this donut has officially changed its name to the Brooklyn Blackout Donut — so be sure to look for it under that name the next time you visit.

Okay, so let’s talk about the coffee. The cold brew itself is QUITE strong. If you love the actual taste of coffee, this might be a great choice for you. The Hershey’s chocolate adds a bit of sweetness, but not as much as you might think from a drink with “Double Chocolate” in its name. We were honestly expecting a very sweet flavor based on that name, but this was much more of a rich chocolate with a strong coffee taste.

We felt like this drink was just a bit more bitter than some of the cold brew drinks we’ve had from Everglazed in the past. So, if you like your coffee with a stronger milk/flavoring taste than a coffee taste, this might not be for you. Also, if you like very sweet coffee beverages, you might not enjoy it.

But, if you love mocha and chocolate flavors, this could be a good pick!
