Few things say springtime like a food booth inspired by tropical fruit, and that’s exactly where we’re headed today — Pineapple Promenade!
We’re having a blast on the first day of the 2021 Flower & Garden Festival, and you know we have to stop by every booth to give you the best and most up-to-date reviews. So let’s dive right into this outdoor kitchen and see if it’s as fresh and fun as we remember!
Menu
As far as food goes, the food offerings here are the same as it was last year. The differences we spotted are in the drink selections, so that’s something on the list to check out!
Food
We’ve had the Spicy Hot Dog with Pineapple Chutney and Plantain Chips before, and it’s still priced at $8 like last year. In the past, we have loved the kick of heat with the sweet on that hot dog!
The Mixed Berry Buttermilk Cake was new to the booth in 2020 and is available again this year for $5. When we had it last year, we felt like the fruity flavors were nice and worked well together. But, we found the cake itself to be a little dry. If you want to try it, you can grab it at this booth.
And, if you’re a classic Disney fan, you can order some plain ol’ DOLE Whip® here for $5.25!
Sometimes the classics are the best!

Drinks
For those looking for non-alcoholic beverages, there are two options on this menu. You can try the DOLE Whip with Fanta® for $6.25.

Or you can get the Flower & Garden favorite, Frozen Desert Violet Lemonade for $4.50. This drink is not too sweet, and not too floral. It’s been a DFB favorite for quite some time. And it doesn’t hurt that it’s totally Insta-worthy too!
For the adults, you’ll find several different choices with a little more kick. The Playalinda Brewing Company Violet Lemonade Ale, Lexington Brewing & Distilling Company Alo’hop IPA, 3 Daughters Brewing Tropical Hefe Wheat Ale, and the Wicked Weed Brewing Fresh Pressed Wheat Ale with Mango, Pineapple, and Guava can all be purchased for $4.50 for 6oz or $8.50 for 12oz.
We started with the Violet Lemonade Ale, which is the only returning item from last year. We loved how the floral flavors compliment what essentially tastes like a sour style beer, thanks to the lemon.
Also, you can order Florida Orange Groves Winery Sparkling Pineapple Wine for $12. It’s a very sweet wine, but also one of the more popular items here! And it has LOADS of pineapple flavor, making it a very refreshing drink on a hot day!
You can also get a DOLE Whip topped with Parrot Bay Coconut Rum for $12.
Plus, it wouldn’t be the Pineapple Promenade without the Pineapple Beer Flight for $9.50!
The flight is great, and like everything at this food booth, extremely refreshing.

But if you like dry beers, that might be the very thing you’re looking for!
Overall
Pineapple Promenade a great option if you have been out in the hot Florida sun for a while and need something refreshing. We love the fruity flavors here. But if you’re looking to really try some new and interesting flavors, you may want to skip this booth.

Would love to know where I could buy the spicy hot dog, from a grocery store, to have when not at Disney.
