We’re back with some MORE new drinks for ya!
We’ve been goin’ hard sampling boozy sips around Disney World the last few days, from TWO spiked Dole Whips to tasty margaritas. But over at Martha’s Vineyard Lounge at Disney’s Beach Club Resort, 2 new drinks have arrived — and they’re ringing in spring!
You’ll be able to choose between the Jelly Bean Cocktail and the Cotton Candy Mimosa. MORE candy-inspired drinks?! Hey, we’ll take ’em!
The Jelly Bean Cocktail is made of blueberry açai vodka with Pavan liqueur — and it was surprisingly bright and citrusy! We could really detect those blueberry notes, too, so if you’re a fan of that flavor you may want to try this unique sip.
But we’ve gotta point out: who thought to put jelly beans in here? The cocktail’s on the rocks, and there’s really no easy way to scoop the jelly beans out and eat them. Are they just for decoration?! What’s the deal? Not to mention, they added a gray hue to the drink. But jelly beans aside, this was a solid sip.
While the Cotton Candy Mimosa LOOKS fancier, it’s actually a lot simpler! You’ve just got Prosecco with that cotton candy here.
Take the cotton candy off, and you’ve got yourself a typical glass of bubbly! We found the Prosecco itself to be pretty dry, which actually helped tone down some of that cotton candy sweetness.
But be warned: make sure you take off that cotton candy ASAP! Otherwise, it’ll start to melt and stick to the glass. Trust us — we learned the hard way.
Neither of these drinks were out of this world, but we enjoyed ’em both! If you’re looking for a creative, candy-inspired sip, pop by Martha’s Vineyard. And we’ll keep you posted with more Disney news, so stay tuned to DFB!
