It’s that time of the week! We’re checking out the average wait times in Disney World from this week!
Disney World has been at capacity a lot over the past few weeks, and the wait times don’t always reflect that. Even when Park Pass Reservations are filling up, the wait times in the parks tend to fluctuate a little bit. Today, we’re looking at the average wait times in ALL four Disney World theme parks!
One Magic Kingdom attraction continues to blow the others out of the water for the highest wait time in the park! Splash Mountain averaged 67 minutes this week. The next highest was Seven Dwarfs Mine Train which averaged 59 minutes!
Other wait times for thrill rides include Space Mountain averaged 47 minutes, and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad averaged 38 minutes. Pirates of the Caribbean had a pretty high wait at 44 minutes, and Jungle Cruise had a wait time of 44 minutes.
Attractions with wait times in the 30s include “it’s a small world” at 36 minutes, Peter Pan’s Flight at 35 minutes, Astro Orbiter at 33 minutes, and Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin with 31 minutes.
Rides with average waits in the 20s include Prince Charming Regal Carrousel at 22 minutes, Mickey’s PhilarMagic at 24 minutes, and The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh at 21 minutes.
With waits in the teens, we saw The Magic Carpets of Aladdin and Dumbo the Flying Elephant at 16 minutes, Under the Sea — Journey of the Little Mermaid, Country Bear Jamboree and The Barnstormer at 15 minutes, Tomorrowland Speedway and Haunted Mansion at 18 minutes, and Mad Tea Party at 13 minutes.
Attractions with a pretty short wait time include the Carousel of Progress at 10 minutes, and the Liberty Square Riverboat at 7 minutes.
Just like the weeks before, there were a handful of attractions with zero minute wait times, including the Enchanted Tiki Room and Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse. The Hall of Presidents are currently under refurbishment.
Even though the parks are hopping with guests, the wait times are not too bad! They look pretty similar to past weeks, but attractions like Splash Mountain and Seven Dwarfs Mine Train are likely going to have some long wait times.
Test Track continues to have the longest wait in EPCOT this week at 62 minutes!
Other popular attractions like Soarin‘ (56 minutes), Frozen After Ever (53 minutes), and Mission: SPACE (47 minutes) also had average wait times that went up by a good amount this week.
The rest of EPCOT saw fairly low average wait times as usual, including Spaceship Earth with 27 minutes, Journey Into Imagination with Figment with 17 minutes, The Seas with Nemo & Friends with 16 minutes, and Living with the Land with 11 minutes, and the Gran Fiesta Tour with 9 minutes.
Similarly to past weeks, all of the films in EPCOT had a zero minute wait. That includes Disney and Pixar Short Film Festival, Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along, Awesome Planet, Impressions de France, and Reflections of China. American Adventure.
With the 2021 EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival drawing lots of guests to the park, almost all of the wait times have increased, especially the more popular rides like Test Track and Frozen Ever After!
Disney’s Hollywood Studios
The longest wait time in Disney’s Hollywood Studios is Slinky Dog Dash again! The Toy Story attraction had an average wait time of 69 minutes this week! Tower of Terror was right behind with 57 minutes.
Other attractions with pretty high wait times include Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run with 53 minutes, Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway at 33 minutes, and Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster averaged 42 minutes.
A few attractions are below those times. Star Tours averaged 30 minutes, and Toy Story Mania averaged 29 minutes.
Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy, Alien Swirling Saucers, and Muppet*Vision 3D averaged 26 minutes which makes these three attractions the lowest in the park. Remember that Rise of the Resistance is not included in these numbers due to its virtual queue.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom
Although both attractions in Pandora — the Land of Avatar used to have the highest wait times in Disney’s Animal Kingdom and Disney World as a whole, Na’vi River Journey has decreased a LOT since the addition of plexiglass! This week, Flight of Passage had the longest wait time in ALL of Disney World with 79 minutes!
Na’vi River Journey is down to a low 32 minutes this week!
Dinosaur had an average wait time of 37 minutes, Kilimanjaro Safaris had an average wait time of 35 minutes, and Expedition Everest had an average wait time of 22 minutes.
Triceratop Spin continued to have the shortest wait time in the park with 8 minutes. Kali River Rapids is still under refurbishment.
