We’re back with the new scoop from many of Disney World’s resorts!
There have been a lot of updates since we last visited, and we found some surprising changes! A ton of new merch, a few (not-so-good-looking) construction updates, and a wait time at…a pool? Let’s dive in!
Pop Century Resort Merchandise Updates
Everything Pop Shopping & Dining
We had recently spotted this ice cream scoop at Disneyland, and we found it here too for $14.99! We love the colorful sprinkles in the handle.
We also spotted the Dalmatian Big Feet Plush, and we got a little excited about the upcoming Cruella movie!
Look at those big paws!
Pop Century Resort Food Updates
The ketchup crisis at Disney World continues! We’ve been noticing a mysterious ketchup imposter in many locations…
…including at Everything Pop! We first discovered this swap at Hollywood Studios, and it looks like the Red Gold brand might be around while Disney awaits more shipments from Heinz.
We’ll keep an eye out for when Heinz makes a reappearance!
Art of Animation Resort Merchandise Updates
Ink & Paint
This honey-loving bear is available for $17.99…
…along with some of his friends!
These pricey and posable mini plushes are also available online!
Several new Inside Out pins were available for $9.99, featuring the positively precious Joy…
….perpetually down Sadness…
…and the very relatable Anger! Because honestly, same. Hanger gets the best of us.
We also saw the new treat collection, Snacks with Character, pop up!
These have some healthier snack options, such as corn puffs, a seed and fruit mix, and rice crisps.
These Snacks with Character can be found throughout other Disney World locations as well!
Caribbean Beach Resort Merchandise Updates
Calypso Trading Post
The totally awesome Guardians of the Galaxy Wishables have found a new home on the shelves at Calypso Trading Post!
We found the increased price on reusable shopping bags at this location as well.
These bags have been going through a major price identity crisis!
Caribbean Beach Resort Construction Updates
While we were wandering around, we noticed that a few buildings were getting a new paint job! The vibrant colors are a huge draw of Caribbean Beach, which means a lot of maintenance to keep them that way, but this is something to keep in mind if you are visiting soon!
And that’s everything from Caribbean Beach!
Contemporary Resort Construction Updates
We’re having trouble keeping track of all of the construction happening around Disney World, and the Contemporary is the latest to join the club! The resort has begun its Main Tower guest room refurbishment, and the inside looked VERY different when we visited.
Yeah. It’s not the prettiest view. Construction scrim is currently covering most hallways on one side of the building. When we visited, we also noticed a bunch of construction noise! Definitely not the relaxing feel you’re going for during vacation.
If you are planning on staying at the Contemporary Resort in the next few months, definitely keep this construction in mind!
Polynesian Village Resort Construction Updates
We’ve been tracking a lot of construction happening next door at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort!
Recently, we spotted some work happening on the signature pillars on the roof of the Great Ceremonial House.
We’ll keep reporting on all of the work happening as the resort receives its Moana makeover!
Coronado Springs Resort Merchandise Updates
Panchito’s Gifts and Sundries
Over at Panchito’s shop, we noticed a new puzzle for sale!
This 1000 piece Play in the Park puzzle showcases some of the most popular attractions at Disney World!
Coronado Springs Resort Food Updates
Rix Sports Bar and Grill
Rix Sports Bar and Grill is a casual table-service restaurant in the older section of Coronado Springs. This spot is typically overlooked, but we’ve found some seriously yummy eats at this forgotten joint! And now, it’s even easier to nosh on those eats!
We recently saw that Rix is offering Mobile Order take-out!
This is a different Mobile Order than we’re used to; Rix is utilizing OpenTable! You can put in a takeout order through the OpenTable app or their website.
We love any way that makes getting food easier!
Coronado Springs General Updates
Also at Coronado Springs, we noticed that several tables, chairs, and desks were set up inside the resort’s original lobby! Several large conference-style tables have been added, as well as smaller desks along the sides.
Next to the Dig Site Pool, we noticed that the net was removed from the volleyball court, but several chairs were added for sunbathing.
And speaking of the Dig Site Pool, we found an unexpected wait on our recent visit!
At the front entrance of the pool, a sign was out stating that the pool was closed.
Turns out, the Dig Site had hit capacity! A virtual wait-list was set up, with a separate area to check in.
You will receive a text message when it’s time for you to return to the pool. During our visit, the wait was only about twenty minutes long. We were definitely not expecting to find a wait here!
All-Star Movies Resort Merchandise Updates
Donald’s Double Feature
All-Star Movies Food Updates
The pool bar has also reopened at All-Star Movies, and we took a peek at the menu! They have several drink options available, including frozen beverages, sangria, and wine.
They also have a large beer menu available in draft, bottles, and cans!
And that’s everything! Whew! Keep checking DFB for updates on everything new at Disney World!
