Things don’t always run smoothly in Disney World.
Rides get evacuated, animatronics malfunction, and even the weather can act up. And recently, we’ve been keeping an eye on an incident taking place at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge.
Guests have been reporting that for the last 3 days, fire alarms have been going off sporadically in the main Copper Creek Villas building at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge. The alarm has gone off 3 times so far: around 2PM the first day, 9AM the second, and 2AM the third.
On the third day, the emergency alarm went off and guests were told to evacuate the building. Reader @alexileigh412 sent a photo of guests sitting outside at around 2:45 in the morning.
Disney has not yet clarified what caused the situation, but we’ll be sure to keep an eye out for any announcements. Stay tuned to DFB for updates.

There were signs in the lobby notifying guests that the alarms were going to be tested at 3:00 pm, I believe on the 28th. We were over there to go to Geyser Point on the 26th, and saw them then.
