It’s a BIG day for Disney hotels!
Disney’s Wilderness Lodge has officially reopened! The Disney Vacation Club villas reopened here wayyy back in 2020, along with some shopping and dining options, but the resort as a whole has remained shuttered. Now, non-DVC rooms are OPEN and available for booking! So of course, we had to bring ya along to take a peek inside.
Lobby
The lobby has been open for quite a while now to welcome guests of those DVC rooms, so not much has changed.
But hey — we’ll take any excuse to visit this majestic area of the hotel!
Dining
You’ve got quite a few dining options at the Wilderness Lodge! Both Whispering Canyon Cafe…
…and Roaring Fork offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Your pool bar, Geyser Point Bar & Grill, is open from 11AM to 11PM. It’s one of our favorite pool bars on property, with some surprisingly hearty eats!
You can also visit Territory Lounge for sips ‘n’ snacks.
Keep in mind that Storybook Dining at Artist Point is not currently available here.
Shopping
You’ll do your shopping at Wilderness Lodge Mercantile, where you can find souvenirs as well as quick bites.
Wilderness Lodge Mercantile has been open for quite a while now, so again, there’s nothing too new goin’ on here.
Outdoor and Pool Areas
Both Copper Creek Springs Pool (that’s the one with Geyser Point Bar & Grill) and Boulder Ridge Cove Pool are open to guests!
And that’s a fully reopened Disney’s Wilderness Lodge! Again, not much has changed since our last trip over here — but those non-DVC rooms ARE open again! As a note, some rooms HAVE been renovated and we might be checking out those renovations later today, so stay tuned!
