We haven’t seen an official fireworks show in Walt Disney World in over a YEAR!
There were a few flares around the holidays, as well as some random fireworks testing, but not a full show! Recently we learned that fireworks will be returning to Walt Disney World on July 1st, and now we have official times for the shows! Take a look.
Happily Ever After, the fireworks show in Magic Kingdom, will take place at 9:15 starting July 1st!
The 18-minute spectacular will be at 9:15 for the entire month of July.
And after the show, you still have time to enjoy the park, because Magic Kingdom just extended their hours for the month of July! From July 1st through July 10th, the park will now be open until 11PM, up from the previous closing time of 9PM.
And from July 11th until July 31st.
The park will be open until 10PM (originally 9PM).

We also now know that Epcot Forever, the temporary nighttime fireworks at the park until Harmonious is ready, will happen right at park closing, which is 10PM.
As of right now, fireworks have not been announced for Hollywood Studios or Animal Kingdom. But we’ll keep you updated if we hear anything, so stay tuned to DFB!

Will Magic Kingdom have the holiday fireworks July 3 and July 4th instead of Happily Ever After show?
DFB Sarah says
Kimberly, I don’t believe Disney has confirmed either way on this, but we will update when the info is official.
