The 2021 EPCOT Food & Wine Festival has officially started!
We’ve been sharing a look at essentially every food item from EVERY booth, but the Food & Wine Festival is about more than just the food and wine (despite its name). Love Food & Wine merchandise? We’ve got you covered! How about the live entertainment offerings at the festival this year? Yep, we got that too. But now it’s time for us to focus on another aspect of the Festival some might not know about or totally forget about — the Festival’s scavenger hunt!
One fan-favorite offering returning from last year is Remy’s Ratatouille Hide and Squeak. What is Hide & Squeak exactly? Well, it’s a scavenger hunt where you get to go search for the one and only chef Remy throughout EPCOT!
If you want to partake in this fun adventure you can just search for Remy on your own for free. But, if you want to earn a PRIZE for your skills, you’ll want to head over to either Port of Entry, Pin Traders, or World Traveler (located at International Gateway) to buy your map.
The map comes with stickers showing Remy with specific food-related items.
This year these cost $9.99. Once you’ve got your map in hand it’s time to go searching! You’ll find statues of Remy next to those food-related items shown in the stickers throughout World Showcase and the food booths in EPCOT. Then, all you need to do is match the ingredient/Remy stickers to the right spots on your map.
Once you’ve completed the map, you can return it to Disney Traders, World Traveler, or Gateway Gifts to get your prize! This year, you could pick from 1 of 4 plastic cups as your prize.
The cups featured designs of Remy…
…Mickey and Minnie…
…Figment…
…and Belle!
Wondering where you can find some of those Remy statues in World Showcase? Well we’re gonna share 2 spoilers, so this is your OFFICIAL SPOILER WARNING!!
If you want to hunt for Remy on your own and don’t want to know where you can find him then now’s your time to check out some of our other Food & Wine Festival posts like our reviews of all the booths or our photos of the 2 exclusive EPCOT Food & Wine Festival spirit jerseys!
Okay, ready for just a few spoilers?! Here’s a look at the Remy statue you’ll find with some tea and herbs in Refreshment Port.
Be sure to look for him right near the entrance.
And here’s Remy with some carrots over in Earth Eats.
Do you see him in the flowers?
We had a blast searching for Remy all over EPCOT. Whether you’re wanting to get one of the prizes, are looking for a fun activity to do between eating all that yummy food, or you’ve got kiddos coming with you to the Festival, this could be a great activity to check out.
We’ll continue to bring you all kinds of updates about the festival, so stay tuned here for all things Food and Wine!

I paid for the DFB festival guide thinking it was going to be something that would come in the mail. I know it’s handy to have that sort of thing on your phone but I’m also still a paper in my hand gal. Plus, I don’t even know how to upload or download it. So I think I’m out all the money. I really enjoy reading all the DFB updates in my email.
Our family trip is planned for October with kids and grandkids.
I am NOT tech savvy at all. Lol

The Remy scavenger hunt seems like fun. We tried it with our 3 year old grand daughter. That was too young I think. We wasted our money on it. This year she will be 5 and a perfect age to hunt for Remy. Hoping meet and greets are back by October. We do that with Granddaughter while our kids enjoy the festival.
