It’s another beautiful day to spend at Magic Kingdom.
We’re here with another installment of everything new in Magic Kingdom, so let’s get right into it!
Magic Kingdom Food Updates
Main Street Bakery
We got to try the newest fall drink at Starbucks, the Apple Crisp Macchiato, which made us question whether Apple Crisp could replace Pumpkin Spice as THE fall flavor.
We enjoyed the new drink, though we did wish it had more of an apple flavor! If you want fall coffee that’s not Pumpkin Spice, this may be your new fall favorite.

Magic Kingdom Construction Updates
Main Street, U.S.A.
There’s now a big stage surrounding the Partners Statue! A Cast Member shared that it’s there for filming the 50th Anniversary TV Special on ABC.
The stage is arranged in a star shape with a blue center and shiny “EARidescent” sides. We spotted LED wiring around the stage so it will probably light up too!
See more photos of the newest 50th anniversary addition here!
Fantasyland
The Beast’s Castle in Fantasyland is currently undergoing construction, and we saw people working on the exterior of the castle.
There has also been a sign added near the construction site that says, “Heigh-Ho Heigh-Ho! It’s off to work we go! Thanks for your patience as we spruce things up.”
The Beast’s Castle is located above Be Our Guest Restaurant.
See the progress of Disney World’s latest construction projects here!
Adventureland
Jungle Cruise has been through a lot of changes, and now they’ve added a new trophy wall to the ride queue! The new decor features photos of Jungle Cruise Skippers from the past and prestigious awards.
If you want to see this new Jungle Cruise decor, you can catch it while you’re in line for the ride!
Check out Jungle Cruise’s new sign here!
Frontierland
Over in Frontierland, the full walls surrounding Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn Cafe are down!
And there are now walls added to Country Bear Jamboree.
Construction walls are also now up at the Frontierland Shootin’ Arcade.
And Splash Mountain continues to see more construction progress.
Splash Mountain is undergoing a major re-theming to that of the story of The Princess and the Frog but this just seems to be an exterior refresh.
Here are more details about the Splash Mountain re-theme!
Tomorrowland
We couldn’t help but notice the progress on TRON Lightcycle Run too. The outdoor canopy is moving along!
Disney has not yet announced an opening date for TRON Lightcycle Run, though it was originally scheduled to open on October 1st.

Magic Kingdom Merchandise Updates
Uptown Jewelers
We found a new Loungefly backpack! This backpack features embroidered characters from The Nightmare Before Christmas for $75.00.
We also spotted the new Casey’s Hot Dog Purse in the Uptown Jewelers.
We last saw this mini bag in Disney Springs, and the bottom of the bag says “The Most Delicious Meals on the Diamond.”
This purse costs $44.99 and you can now find it in Magic Kingdom while supplies last.
See more photos of the new Casey’s Corner Hot Dog Purse here!
Frontier Trading
We also found a new Shang-Chi Magnet for $14.99 at Frontier Trading.
The newest Shang-Chi Phone Case was also in Frontier Trading!
See the new Shang-Chi Phone Case here!
Emporium
At Emporium you can now buy a limited-edition Disney World Halloween Tote Bag for $24.99 with purchases of $40 or more. This tote bag features a print of pumpkin Mickey and Minnies and a Walt Disney World logo.
You must spend at least $40 BEFORE paying another $24.99 for the Halloween Tote, so keep that in mind if you were hoping to get one for yourself! It’s limited, so it might not last till Halloween.

There are new Mary Blair Alice In Wonderland Plush Collectibles at Emporium for $49.99. This plush set comes with the White Rabbit and Alice herself in plushy form. D23 Gold Members can purchase more Alice in Wonderland plush characters in an exclusive D23 set for $220.

Memento Mori
And in Liberty Square, Memento Mori had a new hooded Haunted Mansion Flannel Shirt available for $69.99.
The front of it has a Madame Leota patch with safety pins screen art…
….and also patches of the Hitchhiking Ghosts and another spooky Haunted Mansion resident.
The back has screen art of Hatbox Ghost!
You can find the Haunted Mansion Flannel for $69.99 at Memento Mori.
Star Traders
We found this sign initially in Star Traders, but it’s now officially a Disney World property-wide policy. The new merchandise policy limits guests to two items per person.
This sign can now be spotted throughout Disney World and applies to most merchandise in Disney Parks.

it is no wonder why the 50th Anniversary Celebration will take place over 18 months… at the speed that Disney does anything, it will take Disney 18 months to complete everything it has going on right now.
Ken, I was curious about the timeline myself. Looks like the 25th anniversary (RIP, Cake Castle) went until January of 1998 after starting in October 1996 — 16 months. The more you know. 😉
