There are a lot of new things coming to Disney World on October 1st!
October 1st is a BIG day!
We’ll be getting a new fireworks show at both EPCOT and Magic Kingdom, plus a new daytime show at Animal Kingdom. On top of that, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure and La Crêperie de Paris will officially open to the public. And now, we can add another restaurant to that list — Steakhouse 71!
Steakhouse 71 is the new restaurant coming to Disney’s Contemporary Resort, offering “unique and delicious” menu items at breakfast and a “terrific dinner menu with all the hallmarks of a family-friendly steakhouse.” It opens on October 1st and reservations become available on September 16th.

But besides what is likely to be excellent food and beverage options, the restaurant will also have a creative look, inspired by design elements from the ‘70s and hints of Florida heritage. There are even subtle sightings of Orange Bird and citrus groves!

Disney released some concept art for the new space and the fresh design features a color palette of navy blue, gold, and various wooden elements. We can’t wait to see it in person!
