There have been several big changes in EPCOT over the last few weeks that we’ve eagerly waited for! The month of September brought the long-awaited opening of Space 220, and we’ve been enjoying checking out the newly expanded France Pavilion with Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure and La Crêperie de Paris!

Tonight, however, all eyes are on World Showcase Lagoon as we finally get to see the brand-new nighttime spectacular, Harmonious!

Harmonious officially takes the place of EPCOT Forever, the previous fireworks show that ran after Illuminations: Reflections of Earth concluded its historic twenty-year run in EPCOT. In recent weeks, we’ve seen a few different sneak peeks from Disney, including a first listen at what seems to be an INCREDIBLE soundtrack from Harmonious. Tonight is the first night we were able to see this brand new show — let’s check it out (More than anything, we were excited to finally see those giant barges floating on World Showcase Lagoon in full action!).

We arrived prior to the start of the show and were greeting by lots of fans who also wanted to be a part of EPCOT history!

From the Japan Pavilion to the Norway Pavilion, EPCOT was not short on crowds!

Cast Members did a great job making sure things ran smoothly, with designated walkways added around World Showcase.

It was very exciting to be at this premiere performance, especially with so many fans!

Here’s another angle of Harmonious!

There are moments in the show where the buildings around World Showcase are illuminated, as they have in previous nighttime spectaculars at EPCOT.

And, of course, there are fireworks.

And yes, we did finally get to see what those barges were like at night! It’s truly a colorful show!
