Disney World’s 50th anniversary celebration is now in full swing, and this event will last a whopping 18 months.
Disney has changed a lot for the 50th anniversary, including new fireworks shows, new nighttime Disney Park icon lighting, and LOTS of new merchandise. They’re also making a big change to a smaller Disney World item, and it may be your new favorite Disney souvenir.
Thanks to @themeparkologist on Instagram, we have a first look at the new Disney World ticket designs for the 50th anniversary! These tickets feature an EARidescent background with the gold character statues we’ve seen in the parks.
The ticket designs feature Disney characters including Mickey, Minnie, Figment, and Frozone from Disney and Pixar’s The Incredibles.
There are also tickets starring R2-D2 from Star Wars, Olaf from Frozen, Dory and Nemo from Finding Nemo, and Bo Peep from Toy Story.
And we can’t forget Miguel from Coco and Simba from The Lion King!
We don’t yet know if there are more Disney World ticket designs with other Disney characters but we’ll be on the lookout! What do you think of these new Disney World ticket designs? Keep reading DFB for more Disney World 50th anniversary news!

Do we get these when we first scan into a park? How do I make sure I can get this! So cute!
DFB Sarah says
Pete, great question! If you are purchasing tickets at Guest Relations or the Transportation and Ticket Center OR if you’re picking up Will Call tickets, you should get these. If you’ve already booked tickets online and they’re in My Disney Experience, you can go to Guest Relations to have them convert your tickets to hard tickets — and these would be the tickets.

You can get a similar ticket if you are an AP! We got Mickey.

Thanks, Erjen!

Are these all the designs? ie 10 in total or their other designs?
Just interested as they are so lovely. I would love a whole set! Lots of trips (or people) need!!!
Emma says
Are these hopper passes? Or are these just basic one day passes?
DFB Gigi says
Hi Emma! They’re the standard ticket whether it’s one day, ten days, or include park hopping. 🙂
