Disney World has all kinds of hotels on property, from the luxurious Grand Floridian Resort and Spa to the outdoorsy Fort Wilderness Resort and Campgrounds and the fun Art of Animation Resort.
Swan Reserve
Disney has added/announced some new hotels recently, with the newest being Disney’s Riviera Resort. At least, the Riviera was the newest as of yesterday…because today there’s a NEW hotel that’s open in Disney World!
The Walt Disney World Swan Reserve is a new hotel in Disney World, and it’s officially open now! Its opening was delayed a couple of times, so we’re very excited to see it finally open its doors.

The Walt Disney World Swan Reserve is a new hotel that’s part of the Marriott Bonvoy family, which means it’s not actually owned by Disney World. However, it’s still on Disney World property, and guests who stay here qualify for all the Disney hotel perks. In fact, this is considered a deluxe resort, which means guests get some added bonuses like Extended Evening Hours.
Who is ready to check in?!
The Swan Reserve is located near the Swan and Dolphin Hotels, and they’re all within walking distance of EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

There are four new restaurants at this hotel (which we are VERY excited about), and lots of other amenities, including a pool area, a fire pit, the Vue rooftop event space, and access to Swan and Dolphin amenities too.

Just booked a room here for tomorrow night! It was one of the only hotels available.
Looks like they will may be catering to more of a long term visitor, months as a time, out of the country client.
Are the only rooms the two suites? Called Signature Suites?
Donna, they also have a room type called “Traditional” (with several different views). You can see all the room types on their site here (though they haven’t included photos yet).
Ken, originally the concept was a hotel for those in town/in the World on business (i.e. they were going to put large workspaces in most of the rooms). So I think you may be on to something with the out-of-country client idea.
Love the new hotel, truly amazing
Saw all the pictures of the traditional room on another site and sadly while this hotel is clean and new the open concept bathroom is really gross! The toilet literally site open in the bathroom next to the sink, no stall, no door to close just a smelly toilet right next to the sink as you brush your teeth
