The holidays have arrived at Disney World! We got our first sightings of the decorations, merchandise, and even some snacks this week. It’s all in preparation for the start of Disney Very Merriest After Hours, which has its first night next week!
A Look at the Holiday Decor in Magic Kingdom
If you’re heading to Disney World during the week of November 7th, be sure to double-check the park hours and Park Pass Reservation availability so you’re prepared! With next week being the start of the holiday after-hours events PLUS a holiday weekend for some, it may get a little busy!
Disney World Park Hours the Week of November 7th
Magic Kingdom will be open next week from 9AM-9PM on Sunday, November 7th, and Wednesday, November 10th — with the park remaining open for an additional 2 hours on Wednesday for guests staying at Deluxe and Deluxe Villa Resorts. Magic Kingdom will be open from 8AM-8PM on Monday and Friday, and from 9AM-8PM on Tuesday and Thursday. Magic Kingdom will be open from 9AM-10PM on Saturday. Don’t forget that Disney Very Merriest After Hours kicks off on Monday, November 8th from 9PM-1AM!

EPCOTÂ will be open from 11AM-9PM on Sunday, November 7th, and the rest of the week from 10AM-10PM daily. The park will remain open for an additional two hours on Monday for guests staying at Deluxe and Deluxe Villa Resorts. The EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival continues next week, with daily hours of 11AM-10PM (closing at 9PM on Sunday, November 7th).

Disney’s Hollywood Studios will be open daily next week from 9AM-9PM.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom will be open from 8AM-7PM Sunday through Thursday next week, and from 8AM-8PM Friday and Saturday.

Don’t forget that if you’re staying at a Disney World Resort hotel, you can get a slight head start to your day by taking advantage of Early Theme Park Entry! This gives you access to any of the four parks thirty minutes prior to the posted opening time. In this case, the early bird does get the worm, or at least a jump start on those popular rides.

Select Resort Hotels
As of this writing, guests staying at Select Resort Hotels currently have wide-open Park Pass Reservation availability for the week of November 7th, with all four parks available to book each day.

Theme Park Tickets
Currently, the same goes for guests with Theme Park Tickets — all four parks are wide open for Park Pass Reservation bookings the week of November 7th.

Annual Passholders
Annual Passholders can also book a Park Pass Reservation at any of the four parks next week on days their Pass is not blocked out! So far, the first full week of the holiday season along with Disney Very Merriest After Hours, PLUS a holiday, looks to be smooth sailing as far as reservations go!

Don’t forget that if the park you wish to visit is out of reservations, you can hop to that park after 2PM with your Park Hopper ticket, as long as you have scanned into the first park of the day for which you have a confirmed Park Pass Reservation. Hi Sarah! How early should we get to an 8 am park opening if we are resort guests? Are they still letting everyone in thirty minutes early?
Dorothy, Resort guests can expect to get in at least thirty minutes before scheduled park opening. On November 12th only, Resort guests will be let in an hour early due to the Disney+ subscriber early entry offering that day.
