Did you know that you can ride around in the same vehicles as some of your favorite Disney characters? With Disney’s Main Street vehicles, YOU can ride down Main Street in style, just like Mickey and the gang during a character cavalcade!
The Main Street vehicles have been unavailable for guests since the start of the pandemic, but it looks like things are changing! A fan-favorite limited-time attraction is BACK in Disney World!
As you can see, guests can once again ride in style with the Omnibus, a double-decker bus that gives you a whole new perspective of Main Street, U.S.A.! Starting today, the Main Street Vehicles are running for guests!

The Main Street vehicles typically only make trips from the front of the park to the Cinderella Castle in the morning, so be sure to hit the park early if you want a ride on the Omnibus.
There are so many fun little details on this bus — do you see any familiar names on the bus? We spy a Casey’s Corner ad!
Keep in mind that the Walt Disney World website still lists the Main Street vehicles as “Temporarily Unavailable,” but we’ll keep our eyes out for any changes!
Other types of vehicles are available including this one which we took a ride on! Reader Sarah A. mentioned that Disney started these back up yesterday and that they run until about 1PM (when the cavalcades begin).

Take a ride!
Cast Member Benjamin was our lovely driver today — he’s super excited that the vehicles are back!

Between all the festive new decorations on Main Street and the familiar vehicles back on their route, it’s a good time to be in Disney World!

I *love* that these are back! Huge nostalgia warm and fuzzy! I remember back to the early days at Disneyland when we had coupons. These were some of the “A” ticket attractions and I always loved catching a ride out in the morning and again back at night.
WHERE do you go to catch a ride on one of these amazing vehicles? I have been to WDW many many times and have never had this experience. Thanks!
Dotty, I asked one of our reporters for suggestions. She points out that the vehicles make one-way trips up and down Main Street from the Town Square area near the train station toward Cinderella Castle (most often the Adventureland side) and back again. You’re more likely to see them in the morning, and if you see a vehicle stopped on the side of MSUSA and/or a Cast Member in the vicinity, feel free to ask for a ride! The CMs on MSUSA may also be able to tell you when the next vehicle will be out, if this is something you’d want to plan for during your day. 🙂
