We’ve learned a lot of new details about the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser (aka the Star Wars hotel) in Disney World today!

The Star Wars hotel is a new, 2-night immersive experience in Disney World coming in March 2022. We’ve learned just how big these rooms will be and debunked some of the myths, and now we have a sneak peek at some of the merchandise that will be available for guests staying at the Star Wars hotel!
According to The Nerdist, the gift shop aboard the Galactic Starcruiser will be called The Chandrila Collection, and all the merchandise is within the same universe, which means nothing blatantly sports the Star Wars logo. Brad Schoeneberg, Brand Merchandising Vice President, told The Nerdist that their merchandise focus was based on “transformation and roleplay, a ship logo line that celebrates Chandrila Star Line and the Halcyon, and the ship experience.”
There are even costumes you can buy, like Twi-lek or Togruta outfits both for children and adults! Some of the merchandise will reflect ways to participate on the ship, like dressing up as certain characters.

There will also be Star Wars-inspired galactic fashions, like this customizable black space dress. Next to that dress is a Bail Organa-inspired outfit, complete with replicated wrist gauntlets.

There’s even a formal jewelry line that includes the Chandrila Star Line logo.

And if you want to come home with a typical souvenir, you can do that too! There will be glassware, ornaments, pins, and more. We love the unique shape of that wine glass!

There will be also be a ship model of the Halcyon, which will have light-up cabin windows and engines too!

So this is some of the merchandise that you might find on the Galactic Starcruiser, and The Nerdist added that Disney confirmed that they will NOT have the “real” lightsaber for sale. We don’t have pricing yet for any of this merchandise, so stay tuned for more Star Wars hotel updates!

Will the merchandise be only available to guests that take they voyage…? Disney did that with the Indiana Jones merchandise at the Studio’s. Much of what was associated with Indy was only available there, no where else anywhere on or off of Disney property. If you did not pay the ticket price to get in, you were not exposed to the exclusive line.
Ken, I don’t think Disney has specified if the merchandise will be on-board exclusives, though I imagine some (maybe all) could be. We will update when “launch day” arrives and if we see anything available in the Park.
