PHOTOS & VIDEO: Disney World's Parking Trams are FINALLY Back!

Disney World is HUGE! In just one day, you can rack up thousands of steps as you hop from place to place. Not only that, but you have to wake up pretty early if you want to rope drop, make a Lightning Lane selection, or grab a boarding group for a new attraction! Between all that walking and the EARLY mornings in the parks, most guests are pretty tired by the end of the day.

It’s a HAPPY day in the Magic Kingdom!

Since Disney World reopened in 2020, a popular (and maybe underrated) form of Disney transportation did not return…until NOW! After a long day in the Magic Kingdom, your feet are going to thank you for this!

It’s FINALLY happening! The Disney World trams are back in service at Magic Kingdom.

The parking trams transport guests from the parking lots to the front of all four Disney parks. It may not seem like a big deal, but being able to sit down after a long day of standing makes a BIG difference!

They’re BACK!

We can’t talk about the return of the trams without mentioning the INCREDIBLE Cast Members who operate them! If you’re lucky, you might even end up with a talented Cast Member who serenades you along the way, or tells some classic Disney jokes! The parking trams are practically their own attraction!

The trams usually continue to run back and forth for one extra hour after park closure. Keep in mind that you can also walk to and from the parking lot if you’re in a hurry!

Today, the trams were only running to the Heroes lot at first. The trams were still testing in the Villains lot, but by the time we left the park, it was up and running on both sides!

The trams at the other three theme parks are not set to return until the new year, but we’ll let you know when they’re back! We’re SO happy to see the trams up and running again! Be sure to stay tuned for more Disney news and updates.
