2022 is already shaping up to be a memorable year at Disney World! With the 50th Anniversary Celebration continuing all year long, we’re excited to see what new offerings are on the horizon (including some new attractions, like Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind).
For now, however, we’re heading into an exciting week for the week of January 9th: it’s the first week of the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts! Let’s dive in to see what the week will look like in terms of park hours and Park Pass Reservation availability.
Disney World Park Hours the Week of January 9th
Magic Kingdom will be open next week from 9AM-8PM on Sunday, from 9AM-9PM Monday through Friday, and from 9AM-10PM on Saturday. On Wednesday, January 12th, the park will remain open for an additional two hours for guests staying at Deluxe and Deluxe Villa Resorts.
EPCOTÂ will be open daily next week from 10AM-9PM. On Monday, January 10th, the park will remain open for an additional two hours for guests staying at Deluxe and Deluxe Villa resorts. Though it is not currently posted on the calendar, the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts will begin on Friday, January 14th. The daily hours for the festival will likely reflect that of the park.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios will be open from 9AM-9PM daily next week.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom will be open from 9AM-7PM Sunday through Thursday, from 8AM-7PM on Friday, and from 8AM-8PM on Saturday.
Don’t forget about Early Theme Park Entry if you are staying on Disney World property! Each morning, on-property guests can enter ANY of the four theme parks thirty minutes prior to the posted opening time. This can help you get a head start on those mega-popular rides!

The calendar has now removed the extended park hours on 10th and 12th. Now I’m confused. Did they cancel them or it is still on?
DFB Sarah says
Linda, Extended Evening Hours are still available on the 10th (EPCOT) and 12th (Magic Kingdom) 9PM to 11PM.
