Popcorn buckets are a big deal in Disney World!
We’ve seen such fun versions of them, too, like special ones for Halloween, buckets shaped like Christmas trees, and those that look like your favorite characters. We love checking out all of the Premium Popcorn Buckets of special shapes and sizes, and all of the standard Refillable Popcorn Buckets around the parks. So, let’s take a look at ALL of the popcorn buckets you can get in Disney World right now!
Magic Kingdom
We first saw the Disney100 Cinderella Premium Bucket at Disneyland, but we’re thrilled to say that this beauty is NOW available in Disney World… and it is exclusive to Magic Kingdom.
It features the Disney100 platinum overlay of the classic carriage, and in Magic Kingdom it costs $28.00.
UPDATE: The Cinderella Popcorn Bucket has SOLD OUT during its initial release; however, Cast Members anticipate it should be back in June or July.

EPCOT
We’ve previously seen some Skyliner Popcorn Buckets in the past — these buckets look just like Skyliner gondolas. There was a Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway Popcorn Bucket and a 50th Anniversary Skyliner Popcorn Bucket. The latest one to hit the scene in April 2023 is a Guardians of the Galaxy Skyliner Popcorn Bucket featuring our favorite band of Marvel misfits!
You can grab this popcorn bucket at the various popcorn stands in EPCOT for $19.
We’re pretty sure this one is going to sell out quickly, especially with the release of Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 3 coming up pretty soon, so if you want one, you better get to it fast!
Check out the Guardians of the Galaxy Skyliner Popcorn Bucket HERE!
Hollywood Studios
Hollywood Studios is home to Galaxy’s Edge and other Star Wars attractions, so from time to time a new Star Wars popcorn bucket takes the park by storm. Most recently, however, we spotted the Mickey Mouse Picnic Basket Popcorn Bucket available for purchase. This bucket was first seen at Mickey’s Toontown in Disneyland Park, but now it has made its way to the east coast.
The bucket is made to look like Mickey’s gloved hand holding a picnic basket as a nod to “The Perfect Picnic” in Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway, and you can purchase it for $25. It comes with a serving of regular buttered popcorn.
Check out this PERFECT PICNIC Bucket HERE!
Animal Kingdom
HAKUNA MATATA!! The Pumbaa Popcorn Bucket features everyone’s favorite warthog as a Disney popcorn bucket!
One thing that we REALLY love about this popcorn bucket, though, is that it comes with a strap celebrating Animal Kingdom.
If you’re wanting to grab one for yourself for $22, it’s being sold at Trek Snacks and most of the popcorn carts in Animal Kingdom, but we noticed that several popcorn carts had already sold out! So if you find Pumbaa, pick him up QUICK!
Okay, here’s the thing… THIS GUY is NOT a Popcorn Bucket. But how could we tell you about the Pumbaa Popcorn Bucket without telling you about the Timon Sipper Cup?!?
Both the Pumbaa Popcorn Bucket and Timon Souvenir Cup have been released to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of Disney’s Animal Kingdom, so right now, that’s the ONLY place you can find them.
At Animal Kingdom, you might also find the completely adorable Simba popcorn bucket!
We recently saw it in Africa at the Mahindi and Baridi Baridi stands for $16.99.
Multiple Locations
You may be aware that Disney is now marking a HUGE milestone… the 100th Anniversary of The Walt Disney Company! So, you’ll likely see THIS Disney100 Refillable Popcorn Bucket available all around the Resort! This purple bucket features the “Sensational Six” all dressed up in their shiny anniversary outfits. We can see Donald and Daisy on one side…
…Mickey and Minnie in the center next to Cinderella Castle and Tinker Bell overhead…
…and Goofy and Pluto on the right. Pluto is even wearing his “100” collar for the occasion!
This $13 bucket includes some delicious popcorn, and popcorn refills are only $2.25 for the length of your stay.
Well, there ya have it — those are all of the popcorn buckets you can find right now in Disney World! We’ll keep you updated if any new buckets drop, so stay tuned to DFB for more.

Hi Madison,
Are you saying that the gold xmas tree popcorn bucket is still available? Now, as in January 18-19?
Hi Judy, I can say for certain that I saw it at Animal Kingdom last Sunday (Jan. 16th) but the popcorn buckets seem to move around and pop up randomly with no notice. If you go to the parks, keep your eyes peeled and never hesitate to ask a Cast Member if they’ve seen a certain bucket. They can be really helpful.
I would like to purchase 2 Figment popcorn buckets and 1 light up Xmas tree. How do I go about it.
Thanks
Hi Karen,
Thanks for reaching out! The Figment popcorn buckets are currently unavailable because there was such a high demand for them that they sold out. The Christmas tree light up bucket (gold) can be purchased in the park if it is still available. The last time we saw it was Sunday at Animal Kingdom. If any popcorn buckets make a surprise return we will update!
I just saw the gold Christmas tree tonight at AK 1/19
Does the Epcot still have the 3 flavors of popcorn: Ranch, Bleu Cheese & buffalo? (I think this was the 3 flavors). We were there 3 years ago and mixed the flavors together and couldn’t get enough of it! So delicious and we have been craving it ever since! Hoping to have some when we come for a visit this summer!
Thanks Missy, and DFB Gigi,
I’m planning a trip to go to Disney this upcoming weekend and hope to see either the xmas tree bucket or any of the colored balloons, I doubt if figment will restock.—if you do see any them this week please post it so I’ll know where to go. –Judy
I would like to purchase the original Toy Story Alien popcorn bucket before my trip to Disney World. Are there any discounts on popcorn if you bring an older popcorn bucket to the park?
Hi Erin!
Unfortunately you can not get refills on older popcorn buckets. The buckets are redesigned seasonally with little tweaks to the design here and there. That doesn’t mean that you can’t still use your bucket, you just can’t get the discounted refills on it.
I am trying to get the Mickey Mouse and Minnie popcorn buckets . I am going to magic kingdom on feb.2 2022 where can I get them what store or stand has them .
Hi Carolyn! The popcorn buckets seem to move around so keep your eye out for them at all the popcorn stands. We’ve seen the Mickey popcorn bucket most recently at Animal Kingdom. I’ve even been stopped by other guests asking where I got a specific popcorn bucket so if you happen to see someone with that bucket, most likely they’ll be happy to tell you where they found it that day as well.
DFB Gigi and Missy,
Happy to report that I was able to get the gold X-mas tree light-up popcorn bucket at AK this past weekend AND was able to get the balloon (pink and blue) bucket at MK.–soo happy. Unfortunately, the Jack Skelington head bucket was out of stock. Thanks for the post….
Thanks so much for the update, Judy! I’m so excited you were able to find the buckets you wanted!
Awesome site. Going to WDW next week. Any clue what is found at Disney Springs? Thanks
Has anyone seen the Mickey Mouse 50th Anniversary Popcorn Bucket anywhere lately? I will be in the parks all next week (Feb 20-26) and would love to get one. Thank in advance!!
I would love an All Ears Fan that collects popcorn buckets to show us on IG or Tik Tok how exactly do you store them… like what’s your display set up because I am insanely confused what you all are doing with all these buckets.
Hi! I’ve NEVER done a popcorn bucket at Disney (or gotten popcorn there for that matter) BUT I think it is a great inexpensive refillable snack for our family of 6 going next month. Do you have a list of popcorn locations? If so please let me know where I can find it on your site. TIA!
Hi Chevy! We have a post where we talk about where to go to refill your popcorn buckets in each park. Just click here to read more! 🙂
Hi DFB Gigi,
going to Epcot this weekend, any new popcorn buckets coming out to watch out for?
Judy
Hi Judy! I hope you have an amazing weekend! Disney has not released any new popcorn buckets since Figment sold out, but you might find one of the 50th Anniversary buckets at the popcorn carts. I was hoping for a surprise Orange Bird bucket, but no such luck! Haha
Love these, but what I really want is a collapsible popcorn bucket 😂
Let me know when another figment bucket shows up
We got the conventional 50th bucket in March 2022. It was fine and easy to attach to a backpack. My daughter bought the falcon one previous. That one is a pain to clean. Popcorn gets stuck in the corners. That happens when you buy popcorn buckets that are in the shape of something.
Hi again, I saw on popcorn day that you could say a special phrase in Galaxy’s edge to get the mse droid popcorn bucket. Is this still a thing?
Hi Chevy! Unfortunately the special phrase deal ended on February 28th, but you can still purchase the mouse droid at Kat Saka’s Kettle. 🙂
Hi,
Do you know if the Jack Skeleton head popcorn bucket still available? I’m going to Disney this weekend. Pleae se let me know. thanks
What and where can I find character popcorn buckets at each park?
What’s available? Can I mobile order them? 1st day in park is 5/21/22
I have a cardboard fold up popcorn container from 1961-1962. Has little flaps that opens windows. I can find it NOWHERE when searching memoribilia. Looks like a castle. Any info on this?
Hi!! Does somebody know if I can buy the pink 50th anniversary Mickey balloon popcorn bucket?? Or if someone can help? I went to Disney last week and is a shame I could not purchase it ;;
Can I still get Simba popcorn bucket recently? I am going to Animal Kingdom next September.
Hi Toshi! We have seen the Simba buckets come and go so they might be there when you go, but there’s really no way to guarantee it.
Going to Magic Kingdom on friday! Does someone know if the 50th anniversary Mickey balloon popcorn buckets are still available?
Please continue to keep us informed of all of the popcorn buckets available at all of the theme parks and where to purchase them. This is so helpful to all of us. I’m hoping Figment returns.
We have family going to the theme parks the first week of November and we all want popcorn buckets to purchase, especially the younger children. Am I correct that we need to buy the newest popcorn buckets available to use during their stay or they will be considered outdated and we won’t be able to get them refilled?
Found the 50th Mickey at Disney Springs on 10/22
I heard Mr. Toads wild ride has a popcorn bucket, true?
We need a new post for these. I’d love to know what I must get at our upcoming trip
