Disney World has to close down attractions or transportation systems sometimes so they can do general maintenance.
Sometimes the closures are long, and other times, they are quick and easy, but it’s important to stay in the know about these closures so you don’t end up surprised that your favorite ride is closed during your vacation! Luckily, one closure just ENDED in Disney World!
The Skyliner has REOPENED in Disney World!
After a short refurbishment, the EPCOT Skyliner line has reopened. This line connects EPCOT to Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort. It was supposed to be closed until January 28th, but luckily it has reopened early!
The line has only been closed since January 23rd for the short refurbishment. Refurbishment in Disney World is when attractions are closed for a period of time so work can be done to keep everything running smoothly.
The Hollywood Studios line remained open throughout this time, so now, the entire Skyliner is back to being completely open! Feel fry to fly all the way from Hollywood Studios to EPCOT (and back, if you want!).
We keep up with all of the closures and reopening in Disney World, so make sure to stay tuned to DFB for news and updates!
