After a 3-month-long refurbishment closure, Expedition Everest is FINALLY reopening in Disney’s Animal Kingdom!

We just learned that the popular roller coaster will officially be open for guests starting on April 16th. But we found out today that not everyone has to wait until this weekend to ride it again… .
Our team was at Animal Kingdom today and spotted some Cast Members riding the popular attraction ahead of its April 16th return!
Everest is BACK, baby!
The construction walls have been removed, and the attraction is looking ready to go on Saturday.
So excited!
While we were there, just a few Cast Members were aboard each train, and the ride seemed to be running smoothly.
Here they come!
The waterfall tumbling down the side of the mountain was also flowing once again. We’ve missed that sound in this section of the park!
Seriously, we can’t wait to ride this one again!
