NEWS: Minnie’s Beach Bash Breakfast Returning to Cape May Cafe in Disney World

Character dining is one of our favorite ways to eat. Characters + good food = perfect combo.

While many character dining spots have returned to Disney World, several restaurants had yet to see Mickey or Minnie visiting with diners since 2020. But that’s changing now, and here’s what you need to know!

Back in February, buffet dining returned to Cape May Cafe in Disney’s Beach Club Resort, but character dining did not yet come back. Before 2020, Minnie’s Beach Bash Breakfast was a popular character dining breakfast, with characters like Minnie, Donald, Daisy, and Goofy dressed up for a day at the beach.

Today Disney announced that Minnie’s Beach Bash Breakfast is coming back!! On October 4th, 2022, guests will once again be able to dine with Minnie and her pals while eating breakfast.

The Cape May Cafe breakfast buffet costs $25 per adult and $14 per child, and you can eat favorite dishes like the Salted Caramel “Beach Buns,“ Mickey AND Minnie Waffles, Cheddar Biscuits and Gravy, and lots more. As a bonus, Cape May is one of the cheapest buffets in Disney World.

And that’s not all for character dining news! Disney also announced the return of the Hundred Acre Wood characters at The Crystal Palace in Magic Kingdom on September 20th, 2022…

…and the ‘Ohana Best Friends Breakfast will return to ‘Ohana in Disney’s Polynesian Resort on September 27th, 2022!

Reservations are not yet open for any of these dates but remember that dining reservations don’t open until 60 days before! For Minnie’s Beach Bash Breakfast on October 4th, reservations should open on August 5th, which is 60 days before October 4th. You might want to mark your calendar and get ready — but keep following DFB for updates in case this changes!
