Restaurant Details Released About New Hotel Coming to Disney Springs Area

Choosing where to stay in Disney World can be quite difficult!

We’ve done tons of research on Disney World hotels, like finding the best hotel rooms and reviewing EVERY Disney World hotel. Back in June, we shared all the info we had about the new hotel coming to the area, but now we’ve got MORE information to share, like what restaurants you can find inside!

According to the Orlando Business Journal, the Walt Disney World Drury Plaza Hotel will be opening on October 27th, 2022, with 264 rooms. This is the first phase of the proposed 604-room hotel tower.

The hotel will also feature 17,000 square feet of meeting space. In terms of food that you’ll find inside, so far we know that a Starbucks, a Pizza Hut Express, and two on-site restaurants will be coming to this hotel. Details on what types of on-site restaurants these will be were not released, but we’ll be sure to let you know as soon as we have more information!

Back in 2017, the company bought the Best Western Lake Buena Vista in Disney World for $20.5 million and submitted plans to the state in 2018 to upgrade and rebrand the property, as well as build a new 14-story guest tower.
