Planning a trip soon? Or maybe you’re just dreaming of travel and waiting for the perfect excuse to make the leap and book that trip? Well, this deal could be the “sign” you’re looking for. ✈️
We’ve been watching flight costs for months and have seen times when they’ve increased and decreased. But we’ve also kept an eye out for special deals that could help you fly for cheap. Now, Southwest Airlines has a new deal that could save you some BIG bucks!
Southwest has introduced a special deal where you could get your next one-way flight for as low as $59! To take advantage of this deal, you’ll need to book your flight by October 3rd at 11:59PM Central Time. The ticket you buy can be for travel from October 4th, 2022, through February 15th, 2023.
The price of the travel can heavily depend though, so that’s something you’ll want to keep in mind. For example, when we searched for flights from Atlanta for dates in early October 2022, we were able to find a one-way ticket to Orlando for $71.
When we searched for that same period of time from San Antonio, TX, no discounted flights (under this deal) popped up for Orlando, but they were available for other cities. We also found some trips where a one-way discount was available to Orlando, but tickets were closer to $100-$130. So it can all depend on the days you search or the location you’ll be flying from.
In other words, be sure to visit the Southwest website to put in your trip details to see if you could grab a good deal on your flights!
Here are a few other technical things you should be aware of:
- There are blockout dates — specifically from November 17th-29th, 2022, and December 16th, 2022-January 2nd, 2023
- The tickets are nonrefundable
- Seats, travel days, and markets are limited
- For some flights, the deal might only be available for nonstop flights — look for those indications
- There is a 21-day advance purchase required
- There may be some deals available for trips to Hawaii and for international travel
- The deal may only be available for flights on certain days — for example, (except when otherwise specified) the deal applies for continental U.S. travel on Tuesdays and Wednesdays
- The prices don’t include taxes and fees
- The deal generally applies for one-way Wanna Get Away fares
If you’re looking to book your trip with Southwest, be sure to do it soon so you can take advantage of this deal.
