Disney World has been releasing some big news lately.
We’ve learned all the menus coming to EPCOT’s Flower and Garden Festival this year, the Park Pass Reservation system will soon be relaxed for Annul Passholders after 2PM, and EPCOT will soon be getting its own After Hours event. Let’s take a look at some of the new updates at Magic Kingdom recently.
Magic Kingdom Construction Updates
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure
Over at Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, we’re starting to see lots of progress! Scaffolding has been added to the exterior of the mountain, where we’ve seen cast members working on the top of the drop.
We’ve also noticed some cast members painting the side of the queue building recently…
…and even saw some welding happening inside the tunnel!
There’s some ⚡️welding⚡️ happening over at Tiana’s Bayou Adventure (as seen from the walkway over the lake in Frontierland) 😱

This ride doesn’t open until late 2024, so there is still a lot of work that has to be done here still — but it’s great to see such progress!

Tron Lightcycle / Run
The new stand outside of TRON Lightcycle / Run in Tomorrowland got a fresh coat of paint! While we’re not certain what this will be, it sure looks like a snack cart.
We got a good look at the lit-up canopy recently…
…and noticed that the lighting is now extending to the Tomorrowland Power and Light building just outside of TRON.
This gift shop has been under construction for a while now as well, and we’re curious to see what they do with it.
There is also some progress on the mysterious construction right after you get off of the TRON coaster…
…we’re not sure what it is yet, but could it be a gift shop/photo viewing room?
Annual Passholder and DVC previews are coming up quick, and we’re curious to see how many of these projects will be wrapped up by then.
