It’s no secret that we have some favorite Disney World snacks because we talk about them A LOT.
We’re talking about Corn Dog Nuggets with Plastic Cheese, Dole Whip (a classic, obviously), and the Tropical Serenade. We get even more excited when we find out you can get these snacks OUTSIDE of the parks, and that’s just what we discovered with the Carrot Cake Cookie…sort of.
So we’ve talked a LOT about the Carrot Cake Cookie from Trolley Car Cafe in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. It’s basically two carrot cakes with loads of cream cheese frosting in the middle. It is DELICIOUS and one of our faves for a reason.
Well, imagine our surprise when we saw the Thumper Carrot Cake, which looks a lot like the Carrot Cake Cookie — it’s also cream cheese frosting sandwiched between two carrot cakes. It’s a dupe, y’all! It IS a little smaller than the cookie, PLUS it has a Thumper medallion and sugar carrot on it, but LOOK AT IT. So close.
Of course, what really matters is how much it tastes like the Carrot Cake Cookie. Like that snack, the Thumper Carrot Cake has two moist and fresh layers of carrot cake sandwiching a delicious cream cheese frosting. There’s also a LOT of that cream cheese frosting, so if you love that frosting, this is for you!
So where did we find this carrot cake cookie dupe? It’s available for a limited time at World Premiere Food Court at Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort for $5.99.
So, at least for now, you can get a Carrot Cake Cookie dupe without a park ticket — and that makes us happy. Be sure to check it out if you find yourself in the area!
