Shh!! We just found a SECRET discount in EPCOT, and we’re only sharing it with YOU.
We were recently strolling through The Seas pavilion in EPCOT’s World Nature (which is a great place to spot a dolphin or a manatee, by the way) when we came across a deal that we couldn’t pass up.
If you take a ride on the Finding Nemo-themed attraction in The Seas — called The Seas with Nemo and Friends — you’ll end up in the SeaBase gift shop.
That’s where we found this discount! (You can also skip the ride and just go around the side of the building to find the SeaBase entrance.)
You’ve seen these bags of Pixar-themed candy around the Disney World parks, right? They’ve been around for a while and come in various shapes and flavors. Each bag has a different Pixar movie character on the front.
Well, a Cast Member at SeaBase told us that they have a secret SALE going on! If you buy two bags of Pixar candy, you can get 20% off your purchase!
But that’s not all. If you’re an Annual Passholder, the 30% off merchandise discount also applies to these candy bags! (Remember that Disney increased the 20% merch discount to 30% for this month only.) Since the candy is pre-packaged, it qualifies for the merch discount instead of the lower AP food discount.
We grabbed two bags of candy because we couldn’t resist the good deal. We picked out the Finding Nemo Strawberry Gummy Fish for $6.49…
…and the Inside Out Mango Gummy Drops for $6.99.
Once the discounts were applied, it was basically a BOGO deal! With the 20% off from the new discount and the 30% off for Annual Passholders, we got both bags for a total of $6.99 (before tax).
The buy-two-get-20%-off deal is for everyone (not just Annual Passholders), but the extra 30% off is exclusive to Passholders. We aren’t sure if this discount applies to the pre-packaged Pixar candy in all Disney World gift shops or just at SeaBase, but if you spot the candy elsewhere, it doesn’t hurt to ask!
We went for the Gummy Fish and Gummy Drops, but there are more options available, including Toy Story Green Apple Sour Belts…
…Incredibles Strawberry Sour Belts…
…Soul Strawberry Gummy Pizza…
…Inside Out Blue Raspberry Gummy Drops…
…Coco Tutti Frutti Sour Flowers…
…Cars Fruit Punch Gummy Tires…
…and Cars Lemon and Cherry Gummy Steering Wheels.
OK, so this discount isn’t exactly going to save you hundreds of dollars (unless you buy a LOT of candy), but we know about some other discounts that can save you BIG bucks on your upcoming Disney World trip.
