We Made This Disney World Snack BETTER — Does This Make Us Official Disney Chefs?

You know us — we are always trying to figure out new ways to combine Disney World snacks to come up with something even better.

We’ve created our own Mickey Cookie Ice Cream Sandwich with Peanut Butter Sauce. We’ve shown you how to add EXTRA cheese to a Mickey Pretzel. We even created a Chocolate Bundt Cake Shake. Well, we’re back at it again, and this time, we’re working with one of the most classic Disney snacks: Dole Whip!

Unlike many of our other snack hacks, this one only requires you to go to one location: Tamu Tamu Refreshments in Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Thank you to reader Annemarie for telling us about this hack! Here, you can get Dole Whip, as well as the new Pineapple Crisp Sundae, made with Pineapple Crisp Cake, Vanilla Ice Cream, Pineapple Caramel, and a Crispy Streusel Topping. Okay, do you see where we’re going here?

Yep, that’s right, we’re buying the Pineapple Crisp Sundae for $6.79 and substituting that plain vanilla ice cream for Dole Whip!

Dole Whip just might make everything better

So the Pineapple Dole Whip just brings out the pineapple flavor more than the vanilla ice cream — we LOVED this snack hack. Add in the flavors of the cake, and this hack is a REAL WINNER. However, take a look at this photo because well, it shows the PROBLEM with this snack hack.

Getting a little melty

The problem is that the Dole Whip melts FAST. By the time we walked our Pineapple Crisp Cake with Dole Whip over to the Tree of Life, it was already starting to look a little blobby. It was almost liquid by the time we dived in to taste it. However, we will say that we don’t mind it being a little soupy because the flavors are just that good.

But it’s delicious

So would we grab this snack hack again? Yes, definitely! If you love Pineapple and Dole Whip, this one might just have to go at the top of your snack hack list.
