Disney World is usually a very serene place for us.
Well, other than the crowds. But we won’t talk about that. Usually, Disney World just has a way of making all of our worries fade and our blood pressure lower. But, this week, things took a ride on the WILD SIDE. Let’s re-live it shall we?
There were three things that happened at Disney World this week that we just couldn’t believe at first. They got our hearts racing. They got our blood pumping. Without further ado, here are the WIIIILDEST things that happened at Disney World this weeek.
A BEAR in Magic Kingdom
Last time I checked, this is NOT Dollywood over in the Great Smoky Mountains. THIS IS DISNEY WORLD. So, WHY was there a live bear running around Magic Kingdom? On Monday, September 18th, half of Magic Kingdom closed because a bear was spotted near Big Thunder Mountain.
This led to SUPER dense crowds in the rest of the parks, and wildlife officials collected the bear and then released her back into Ocala National Forest in Marion County.

Miss Piggy: MIA
If you’re a fan of the Muppets, then you probably always say hello to the Miss Piggy statue on the fountain near MuppetVision in Hollywood Studios.
We noticed this week, though, that Miss Piggy was GONE. The good news is that she has simply gone on a vacation to become even more magical with a spinning effect, according to a Cast Member we talked to.

TRAMS! x2
One of the Disney World perks that went away after COVID-19 closures were the trams that made the parking lots a much more magical place. You see, trams were only available in Magic Kingdom, at first, and then Disney’s Animal Kingdom joined soon after. For a while, the trams didn’t return to EPCOT or Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
This week, though, they made a comeback! Guests will once again be able to make a nice comfortable journey to the front of the park from the parking lot — without having to walk that whole long way. Our feet are thanking you, Disney.
