People Are LOSING IT Over This Missing Part of Disney’s Hollywood Studios

A CRIME has been committed in Disney World.

Okay, maybe it’s not technically a crime, but it should be illegal based on our feelings and the general consensus of the entire Internet. Well, okay, again, it’s not technically the entire Internet and more like a niche sect of our followers, but still. Disney World is changing all the time, but we were shocked when we came across what can only be described as a pig-napping.

Miss Piggy has vanished from Disney’s Hollywood Studios! She’s normally prominently displayed as the central pig-ure of Grand Avenue and Muppets Courtyard, dressed in her best Statue of Liberty outfit, guiding us all to Rat Pizza and hilarious jokes. Check her out below, in all her glory, looking magnificent as ever — a bacon — uh, beacon — to lost souls looking for passive aggression (just kidding, Miss Piggy, we love you!)

So imagine our surprise when we were on our way to this porcine princess’ place of residence only to find that she was GONE. A pig-napping has been committed in Hollywood Studios and we’re not quite sure who to blame.

Instead of being greeted by Her Royal Hogness, we were faced with those infamous Disney World construction bushes surrounding her fountain. Where has she gone? Was she taken or has she decided to leave us? We haven’t seen Kermit lately, perhaps the two have decided to abscond into the night on a romantic getaway. But, what if foul play is afoot and Miss Piggy is being held for ransom until Kermit pays up?!

WHERE IS SHE?!

It’s not just us who are deeply disturbed by this disappearance, either. Our social media followers have lamented that Miss Piggy is missing too, saying that they’re heartbroken and that she was just here. We also can’t help but agree with our reader who said that they hope whoever (cough, cough, DISNEY) took her brings her back soon.

Where has she gone?

BRB, gotta go call our pal Kermit so we can get to the bottom of this. Of course, it’s quite possible that Disney has decided to send Miss Piggy out to the finest Swine Spa around for a bit of maintenance and is just doing some refurbishment to this area, but we think the pig-napping situation is far more likely.
