Of course, Salt & Straw offers a few classic ice cream flavors, but if you’re feeling adventurous, we dare you to check out some of the unique seasonal flavors this October. Wait until you see the full list of special flavors for the fall season…

Salt & Straw just shared a preview of The Scoops & Skull Series — five fall-themed ice cream flavors that are already sending a SHIVER down our spines. Let’s take a look!

Here’s a full list of flavors that are part of The Scoops & Skull Series:

• The Great Candycopia
• Jack o’ Lantern Pumpkin Bread
• Don Bugito’s Creepy Crawly Critters
• Chocolate Champurrado w/ Sesame Toffee
• Blackberry Tamales

Those names sound cool and all, but what do they taste like?! Let’s dig into the menu.

First up, The Great Candycopia features Kit Kats, Snickers, Reeses, and Heath bars with salted butterscotch ice cream. You may also taste bites of crispy milk chocolate feuilletine, peanut butter trapped in walls of chocolate, and almonds smothered in BOOrbon vanilla toffee. WOW!

Up next, the Jack o’ Lantern Pumpkin Bread is made with a pinch of warming spice, tender hunks of pumpkin bread, and swaths of cream cheese frosting. This is a returning fan-favorite flavor this year! (Trust us — this one is AMAZING!)

If you’re feeling extra adventurous, you can try Don Bugito’s Creepy Crawly Critters. This flavor has Don Bugito’s munchy, crunchy chocolate crickets and toffee-brittle mealworms.

Chocolate lovers, we’ve got you covered! The Chocolate Champurrado with Sesame Toffee features a delicate, spiced champurrado (Cloudforest chocolate drink thickened with masa) with shards of sesame seed palanqueta (traditional Mexican-style sesame toffee).

Finally, the Blackberry Tamales flavor, which was made in honor of Día de los Muertos, consists of one-half masa coconut cream sherbet, and half juicy marionberry sherbet. It is all vegan, too.
