FIRST LOOK at NEW Cast Member Costumes in EPCOT

EPCOT is in the homestretch of a years-long transformation, and we’ve seen some major progress over the past few months.

Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana will open officially this month, Figment is meeting guests at his home in the Imagination Pavilion — and that doesn’t even scratch the surface of updates we’ve gotten over the past few years. Now, Disney has rolled out new costumes for some of its Cast Members in part of the park — come take a look!

On Sunday, October 1st, Cast Members in the World Celebration neighborhood of the park were sporting new outfits in a few shops. The new costumes are gray with a geometric pattern on the left side that resembles Spaceship Earth — the iconic emblem of World Celebration.

There are three color patterns that Cast Members could choose from — green, purple, and blue! We spotted these new outfits in Creations Shop, Connections Cafe, Pin Traders, and a few other locations across the neighborhood.

Not only is October 1st the 41st birthday of EPCOT, but it’s also the two-year anniversary of World Celebration’s debut. In 2021, along with World Nature and World Discovery, World Celebration arrived in EPCOT, forming what was formerly known as Future World. It is currently a work in progress, but Disney shared that the neighborhood with reach completion in December 2023!
