Just How LOW Are EPCOT Wait Times During After Hours Events in Disney World?!

EPCOT After Hours is back, baby! We’re live from the first event of 2024.

Hello from EPCOT!

These events are perfect for fans of LOW wait times at classic attractions, meeting characters, and FREE SNACKS! Of course, these things are well and good, but if you ask us — it’s the low wait times that really make these events worth it. So, what sort of wait times are we working with tonight?

Disney World After Hours events are BACK in EPCOT, Magic Kingdom, and Hollywood Studios! These hard-ticketed events take place on select nights from January through July and allow guests to enter the parks at 7PM.

Let’s DO this!

At EPCOT, the event officially kicks off at 10PM and ends at 1AM, meaning for three hours, you’ll have the park to yourself — well, you and all the other After Hours folks, anyway. Ticket prices range from $149 to $159 plus tax, but Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club members can get discounted tickets.

EPCOT After Hours are BACK for 2024!

We love the characters and free snacks, but being able to walk right onto some of the most popular rides in EPCOT is a game-changer! Let’s take a look at some of the wait times…BEFORE the party got started. Here’s a look at the wait times at around 6PM (when the park was open to day guests).

At 7PM, we headed into EPCOT! Here’s a look at the wait times at around 7. We’re hoping that the 45-minute wait for Soarin’ drops WAY lower at 10PM when the event begins.

Even at 8PM, the wait times were still pretty high for some of EPCOT’s popular attractions, like Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure and Test Track.

Finally, the After Hours event began! And just like that, the wait for Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure dropped to 25 minutes. WOOHOO!

By 10:30PM, the waits were all nice and low. That’s what we like to see!

Oh, and here’s a tip. Even though the sign may say 25-minute standby wait, we noticed people walking straight on to Frozen Ever After. So, 25 minutes may even be an OVERestimate.

The Frozen Ever After wait is NEVER this low!
