Let us begin with a little personal anecdote. As the resident Disney EXPERTS around here, our family and friends come to us with any and EVERY kind of Disney-related question. This includes questions like, “So what exactly is Genie+?” and “Where should I go to eat when I’m at Magic Kingdom?” Often, we’re also asked questions that only a human Disney encyclopedia would know the answer to, like “Where can I go to fill my water bottle?” And guess what? We have answers to it ALL!
But if you don’t have your own personal Disney encyclopedia at your disposal, we’ve got a solution! When it comes to obscure Disney information, sometimes, you’ve gotta go straight to the source. Let us explain!
When you’re standing in the Magic Kingdom with an empty bottle of water, what do you do? Sure, you can take the time to search around online (or consult the DFB page with a list of locations), but sometimes it’s easier to check a map. Starting NOW, Disney added a NEW feature to the My Disney Experience app. That’s right — you can see all the water bottle refill stations right on your Disney World app! To find the new feature, just search “water bottle refill stations” on My Disney Experience. Then, tap “Find on Map.”
The map covers ALL Disney World locations! Here’s a look at the water bottle refill stations in Magic Kingdom. If you tap on those “i” icons, the app will give you a description of the location. Pretty handy, eh?
This new feature can be a BIG help for those who bring reusable water bottles to the parks. But we must admit, not all Disney water is equal! The DFB team even has a ranking of all the best (and worst) tasting water in Disney World.
Here’s a look at the map over in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. You’ve got a LOT of refill station options around the park.
Currently, the map is only showing two refill stations at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, so make sure to fill your bottle when you’re in the Pandora area!
Even the Disney World HOTELS are listed on the My Disney Experience app! Here, you can see the stations at Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort.
Whether you’re refilling a Stanley cup, an Owala water bottle, or even a Disney Resort Refillable Mug, you’ve got TONS of options around Disney World.
We have a feeling this new feature is going to be POPULAR! In the meantime, we’re always on the lookout for the latest Disney news, so stay tuned for more.

I updated my app after seeing this post today but nothing shows for me when I search MDE no matter what way I type it in. Wondering if a newer version has been released in the US but is yet to reach the UK?

Unexpected bit welcome benefits of staying in club level: free filtered water for your water bottles every morning…

I can appreciate Disney for adding this to the app. I will not need it because first, my stomach does not tolerate Disney/Florida water. And second I found it quite easy to spot these stations all over. Get your eyes off your phone and pay attention to your surroundings. Just saying!

This is a great add to the app!

Sadly, Not on the uk version of the app.

Thank you DFB! This lack of information had been so frustrating! I even tried using the chat on the app and was told to ask a castmember. Unfortunately castmembers are often not knowledgable on this topic (at least most of the ones we asked), so not really helpful. We did find one through happenstance at Bay Lake Tower where we were staying, but it was not working because the filter needed replacing. We brought it to their attention and it was fixed by the next day. I just feel so wasteful buying water to be delivered, but that is what we ended up doing.

Is it filtered and cold?

Good day, as of april 18, when I do the search it shows nothing. Maybe Disney removed the feature?
PS: sorry for my bas english I am french first 🙂

Hi Genevieve! It’s still there. I just pulled it up on my phone.
