Uhhh Universal, Is This Announcement Something We Need To DECODE?

Have you heard about the all-new Universal theme park coming to Orlando in 2025? EPIC Universe has garnered the attention of theme park enthusiasts because, frankly, it looks like it’s going to be amazing (I thought about saying epic, but you know…). Universal has only made a few official details known up to this point, but it seems like that might be changing — SOON.

So far, Universal has announced that EPIC Universe will be opening in 2025. It will have five lands — Celestial Park, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic, SUPER NINTENDO WORLD, How to Train Your Dragon – Ise of Berk, and Dark Universe –and over “50 awe-inspiring attractions, entertainment, dining, and shopping experiences.” We have had two rides confirmed and one more hinted at. They have also announced a few restaurants coming to Celestial Park.

But you might notice that the few attractions and restaurants we know about clearly do not add up to “50 awe-inspiring attractions, entertainment, dining, and shopping experiences.” Universal had shared that more information and details would be coming periodically, and it seems we may have just gotten a new hint as to when we can expect more massive news to drop!

Universal shared a post on X on March 25th that makes us think that new details about EPIC Universe are indeed coming soon, on March 28th!

Since the background of the video matches the background in the EPIC Universe logo and the shooting star is next to 3.28.24, we’re wondering if this is certainly a hint that something big that has to do with the new theme park is coming in just a few days. We’ll be eagerly staring at our computer screens watching for what’s to come!

Universal has shared that the new theme park will nearly DOUBLE the size of the Universal Orlando Resort! That’s going to be a huge park. We can’t wait to fly with dragons in the Isle of Berk or dual with wizards in the Ministry of Magic. There’s going to be so much to do and see. Honestly, we can’t help ourselves…it’s going to be EPIC.
