Universal Orlando’s third theme park, Epic Universe, is set to open next month on May 22nd, 2025.

This new theme park is home to five different lands including Celestial Park, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic, SUPER NINTENDO WORLD, How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk, and Dark Universe. Universal offers Annual Passes so you can visit and experience their theme parks whenever you please, but will their newest park be part of their Annual Pass program? We had a fantastic time in Epic Universe for the first time last week and learned SO much about the new park in just one day.

Annual Passholder previews were just announced for this new park and are going pretty fast, and Universal announced that Helios Grand Hotel is opening early as well, and for those of you who are securing your spots to go sometime this year, we’re here to tell you that you’re going to have a great time. However, we’ll be the first to admit that we do feel there’s something big missing from this park, and it’s not what you’re expecting.

CONFIRMED: These New Lockers RULE in Epic Universe

Let’s just say this weekend has been…EPIC.

We finally got a chance to explore Universal Orlando’s new theme park, Epic Universe. We’ve been running all over Super Nintendo World, as well as How To Train Your Dragon — Isle of Berk, Celestial Park, and The Wizarding World of Harry Potter — Ministry of Magic. We also got to get our first really good look at Dark Universe, including the INCREDIBLE Monsters Unchained ride. Well, there was something about that ride that REALLY impressed us that we haven’t talked about yet: the lockers.

CONFIRMED: The Locker Rule You Need To Know About at Epic Universe

Universal Orlando’s newest theme park, Epic Universe, is almost open!

While the park does not officially open until May 22nd, 2025, park previews are currently underway for Team Members and their guests, and we were able to get a sneak peek! Before actually getting to experience the park for ourselves, we speculated that certain attractions would require a locker system to keep your belongings in while you ride. Well, we finally know how this system will work, and spoiler alert: it is different than the lockers we are normally used to at the other two Universal parks.
