NEW Fireworks Show Announced for Universal’s Epic Universe

We all know no theme park day is complete without watching the fireworks. Universal Orlando just announced a brand-new show starting next month, and y’all, this might be the ultimate fireworks show.

Starting July 7th, you’ll be able to catch Universal Celestial Goodnight at Epic Universe! It features lighting, dancing water features, and a breathtaking fireworks display, all set to an awe-inspiring soundtrack. The best way to put it? It’s EPIC!

It will run nightly starting July 7th in Celestial Park, which is the first land you see when you enter Epic Universe. It was developed by Universal’s award-winning entertainment team and will pay tribute to inspiring characters and adventures all found within the different portals of Epic Universe.

It’s put together with nearly 600 synchronized light fixtures, over 350 larger-than-life fountains, and seven million LED lights embedded throughout Celestial Park. Universal says guests can watch as “every inch of the vibrant worlds from Luna to Apollo glistens with meticulous choreography set to a high-energy musical score — all culminating with jaw-dropping fireworks that will serve as an epic farewell after an action-packed day at the park.

In December, we saw Universal file for a trademark for “Celestial Goodnight,” and we’ve been on pins and needles waiting to figure it out for a while now! Along with the name, they registered the logo
